Yeah Ausland has some child privacy stuff.

All I'm saying is that it makes no sense to punish the kids who would benefit from verifiable credit recognition if they wanted to start an acting career. Go after the pedo creeps

Obviously if they're looking for roles as teens it'd be trivial to verify them. They're only uncredited publicly, for tax purposes they'd still have verifiable records working for Ludo, and the BBC internal records would have them documented. Most developed countries have better privacy protection than the US (but worse speech protection) so it's intentionally supposed to be hard to find people as a non-government entity. This is also why there are very few Kiwi Farms threads on people that live outside of the US; EU privacy regulations make it usually not worth the hassle to try doxing someone, but the US allows data brokers to have public-facing personal info for anyone that knows a name and birth year to look up and get their phone number, home address, etc.

Lmao, you just googled "Bluey's voice actor" and found a fan page with fan chosen voices for a non-existant movie.

They're the voice actors and children of people that work on the show, but the source has been scrubbed off the internet so that's the only reason that came up

Probably due to some weird Australian law that prevents children’s identities from being revealed until they turn 18

That's moronic. If I'm a child actor I want my fricking name to be listed in the credits, full stop. Trying to prevent a Jake Lloyd situation doesn't make sense because it's just a voiceover role

There are like, two or three, Australian cartoons with Australian casts per year. That industry is so small that I wouldn't be surprised if everyone important already knows who they are.

I imagine they have their own mini resumes and portfolios or whatever when they apply for roles. You listed you’re the voice of Bluey? Let me call up ABC Kids real quick.

People looking to hire the kids would simply call their manager or the studio. Probably would have to wait for them to finish Bluey otherwise they might violate child labor laws from too much time working a week. But if OP wants to find their names, breaking into the manager's office is probably the easiest way. They're sure to still keep paper records.

Are you moronic? You know that can be confirmed pretty easily? Jesus I went from almost siding with you to realizing you do just want to stalk the kids.

Why would kids need to get credit from internet wackos?

I'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop on Ryan Toy Reviews, personally.

I'll concede that the Aussie TV industry is probably small enough that everybody knows everyone else but for everywhere else employers hiring VAs absolutely do rely on screen credits to verify you're legit

In fairness it's virtually a given that whatever thing they work in after Bluey (if they even want to stay in voice acting/entertainment) will probably be with BBC who they're already working with anyway.

Yeah, don't a lot of the popular kid VAs usually bail to go to high school and stuff? At least the one's who aren't found dead on a massive drug OD

Yeah, though studios are pretty good with having teens shoot for shows after class. IIRC Drake (Aubrey not Bell) filmed for Degrassi after classes.

There's this astonishing thing called references. You get your boss' or coworker's number, get permission from them to be called by your new boss and get them to talk aboit the content or quality of your work. No risk of exposing young VA's to weirdo stalkers required.

        >Trying to prevent a Jake Lloyd situation doesn't make sense because it's just a voiceover role
If you don't think teenagers would bully the hell out of someone for voicing a cartoon character, you're very naïve. Just look at what happened to Zach Callison towards the end of Steven Universe's run.
