I am not enjoying Kamen America. I shouldn't have believed all those anti-woke nuts saying that this is great. I can recognize that it is satire and that the MC is just Captain Marvel rebranded to anti-woke specifications.
And the story is just not doing it for me. I understand it but it's just not so fun. And to think this is a very popular indie title? I'm guessing a lot of people supported this comic out of spite, what a load of crockshit.
The artstyle is great though. It looks like the art used by Merryweatherey in his comics.
I just don't like this and I feel like I'm supposed but I just don't like it. I'll try to slug through it to see how it gets more anti-woke but that's about it.
I also dislike the "not take itself seriously" kind of comics so yeah.

Sometimes. I have this belief that they are right in a lot of things and that I should strive to see the world the way they do but it is not working out.
I'm starting to lose faith in that belief so maybe all's well that ends well.

Yes and No. Yes Empowered is unapologetically coomerbait but the writing makes up for it by, I say, doing more than just being "anti-woke Captain Marvel and friends"

I disagree, most characters are c's of things they did in big 2. Millar did the same thing and is now one of the richest guys in the industry.
Supporting works out of rage or spite against a supposed enemy is always going to end poorly. Support things because they interest you and you enjoy reading/watching them.
