How good was the movie?
it was basically a long episode
So, it was 10/10.
More of a 7/10, it wasn't bad for what it was just a little too much and too little going on if that makes sense. A lot of what was planned for s8 is made to fit in movie format.
Yes, it's like a season compressed in one long episode.

She was discarded like the plot device she is. As for Dean, his betrayal was way more than they could satisfactorily resolve in the movie along with everything else going on, so they kind of speedran their reconciliation. It was more for Hank's development than anything anyway.

Probably because of the trauma with banging Nikki and then finding out Dermott was his half-brother and Nikki's the mom. It got erased but the feelings stayed

Hank went out of his way so much for Dean with all the Triana stuff. Tried to give him advice in how to get her, and even tell him to move on and help him. Dean was just a really shitty brother who got off easy because Hank is a much better person than Dean.
You honestly get everything you need out of their clone reactions on how innately good they are individually. Heck, it took literal brain damage and a deep betrayal from the one man who ever truly understood him for him to get mopey and it's probably already resolved condensed ending notwithstanding.
I think how Hank handles getting the shit end of the stick from Doc and still manages to be his happy-go-lucky self tells me he's the more well adjusted of the two. The fact that he also immediately forgives Dean also says a lot about his character.

I think what made her cheating with Dean bad was in part they spent all of Season 6 setting up Hank trying to win Sirena over. Even had promotional posters for it for the season. Maybe it would have come off a bit better if Season 6 and 7 were all one season as it was originally planned. So there is no long gap between seasons.
