That would honestly be kino. She chases this evil white guy she's conjured up all her life only to find out this entire chase was for some Asian dude. Her hatred definitely is being portrayed by a bad thing, and she's already caused alot of destruction, but still she goes on her quest anyway.
Not only that, but the mother she grew up with was not her real mom, her real mom is already dead. And, most importantly, she is only still alive because her real mom made sure she was taken somewhere safe. Bonus points if bioMom sacrificed herself in the process to stall the pursuers.
Mitsu getting incontrovertible evidence that not only was her crusade for revenge flawed, but her entire perception of all Europeans as monsters in one concise package? Perfect.

"The show is about how white men bad" was a meme forced before the show was even on netflix yet. It was pre-decided by certain corners of the internet that this was what the conversation surrounding the show was going to be about, and evidence has never been involved.
Mizu doesn’t seem to love the act of killing itself, not like Fowler
Letting loose and displaying her talents with the man she loved (and thought he was of the same mindset) is where she got carried away
Really what she needs most is someone who just shows genuine affection for her and gives her support without betraying her or abandoning her. She ALMOST got that for a while and settled down to live a peaceful life, but it didn't last and she was betrayed again by at least one person she trusted, perhaps two.
Bonus points if she meets a european person who is unambiguously not a piece of shit, someone she genuinely cannot project evil onto. "Yeah, guys like Fowler are scum. That's why they fled our country, they would have been arrested for the shit they do at home. You've basically only ever met outlaws, of course they are shitheads."
