I know some aren't too hard to work around but depending on the type it could just mean he's screwed until he gets a new provider. Considering at this point it's nearing around a year since he's been by here, I think it's more complicated than just resetting his phone or something.

Okay, it seems like the extra compression happens every single time EXCEPT when the system detects there are only several pure colors being used, and thus it's not worth it.
YJ should just pivot to a Justice league international show and then do a titans spinoff to keep the teen shit. The main demo for it are now all older than the original characters and its not like many teens/tweens are out on hbo getting their fix of dc cartoons. Getting rid of the shitty teens no one cares about and focusing on a JL run by the original characters would be more popular in the long run.
The Outsiders are essentially the Titans, but I agree. I think the goal is to see the characters we started with as veteran heroes, especially if whatever Superboy does in Happy Harbor in 10 years is a plot point they intend to follow.
It's kind of funny that YJ has enough worldbuilding to organically spin-off into other shows and movies, yet it got snubbed in that regard in favor of Harley Quinn, Teen Titans Go, and even Merry Little Batman.

It's not hosting 2 copies. It hosts the original and then cloudflare caches its own optimised version.
In any case, whatever cloudflare does doesn't change the actual image data, it might just change the md5 because of some lossless optimisation but that was always an issue on Cinemaphile because they remove metadata from files (like geolocation from jpegs, extra hidden text data from pngs, etc).

It doesn't seem to be removing the color profile from pngs anymore so the color thing from above is probably fixed (until people start abusing it again to inject extra data).
Shitty pngs with embedded icc profiles are rare though and my desktop image viewer and even mspaint all ignore them. It only looks fricked inside browsers it seems.

Click "Search through all the boards" to open the drop-down menu and drag the files you care about the most into the Image Hash box. It'll be time consuming, but it's the best I can suggest.
So unless I do all that, all the files I saved are perma-fricked. Great.

says, not all images have been affected. Also, the change was only implemented in late 2023, so you only need to worry about the images you saved in the last months of that year.
