Not trolling. It's my favorite gundam. I think it's the best implementation of the whole "teenagers forced to pilot gundams" trope. I like how the cast is funny and wienery and doesn't listen to adults.
repeatedly posting this sentence makes you the kind of person everyone puts on their fake polite social personality for, because they know you're too much of a hall monitor to have a real conversation with

I like ZZ although I haven’t finished it.
It reminded me a lot of L-Gaim which I loved.
But ZZ coming off the heels of Z really hurts it.
If there was a bit more distance between the two it probably would’ve been received better.
This. I don't see why people make threads like these. You don't "need" to watch anything, just watch what you like. It's been talked about for years, just do your research, maybe watch an episode or two, and figure out if it's for you.
>I've seen 10 episodes and all sounds like an insult to Zeta's tragic ending
You talk like a gay and Kamille deserved everything he got for being one of the most unlikable gundam protags ever
Gundam ZZ's opening episodes are so insanely shit that it's hard to believe that the second half is some of the best in the franchise. The good news is that the complete dogshit first 10 episodes are over. Others will tell you to skip all of it but honestly it wouldn't blame you if you skipped 14-18, and then 20-21. You're not missing much.
Yeah. ZZ is connected to CCA, but it’s not too necessary to understand most of the film.
It’s more so for the background lore.
If you saw Zeta you have more than enough knowledge to extrapolate how Char’s character acts in CCA.
I’d even go as far as to say you can jump from MSG to CCA if you really wanted to.
I would take a break after watching Zeta, maybe go watch some of the OVAs or spinoffs. ZZ is awesome, but the tonal whiplash is so bad in the first few episodes, you might just end up hating it. Judau is the best protagonist from the trilogy.
It's a series where a lot of things happen but really, really, don't matter, and the Dublin colony drop embodies that pretty well. It's played up to be something big, but it ends in an unceremonious thud and it's just kind of there. Nobody really talks about it, despite the fact that it's supposed to serve as kind of a wrap-up to the events of Zeta.
Bright tries to instill some structure to one of the last and most important major vessels of the AEUG to stand against Axis? Nope, just let teenagers run rampant and do whatever, even after they threaten to sell the MS and ship to the enemy. Neo Zeon's the next greatest threat? They're so incompetent that the Gundam Mk.II and Hyaku Shiki still reliably hand them their asses with no upgrades, and with Lino and Elle as pilots no less. Leina's dead? Nope, she's fine, even Judau just somehow knows that she's fine despite the fact that he got hugely ass hurt over her presumed death. Beecha and Mondo keep trying to sell the whole ship and crew out to Neo Zeon? Water under the bridge, let them have command of a brand spanking new ship, the most powerful one of its day, they earned it. They want the Nahel Argama to make a go at Neo Zeon ahead of the AEUG/EF fleet to resolve things? Neo Zeon would have killed itself off regardless. Judau tries to do something anyways? Doesn't matter, and somehow gets a monster like the Full Armor ZZ thrashed against an opponent that Kamille was a hair away from defeating in the previous war, while getting a last second power up from Kamille amounting to him not dying and... shaming Haman, showing how she's a friendless loser and nobody loves her (Mashymere's simping nonwithstanding), causing her to suicide.
Oh, and Hayato dies, just like the Dublin drop, and the series in general, it's something that's also forgotten quickly for how unceremonious and pointless with how the whole thing transpired.
>10 episodes
not too far off they try orbital re-entry and you've got characters scream about how they don't want to die as their suit burns
it gets more on normal Gundam rhythm around there, after the Aztec Space Ninjas
If you liked Zeta, you will hate ZZ and if you liked ZZ, you will hate Zeta. Personally I think ZZ is a bit too tone deaf and weird for me and Zeta is one of my favorites.
ZZ gets good no joke; I really enjoyed the whole Dublin arc with Haman dropping a colony and killing wiping it off the face of the Earth. If you liked Zeta you will definitely get to like ZZ, It just takes a little bit of time.
>Some junker at Shanri-La thinks he's hot shit after watching footage of Axis crash into A Baoa Qu >Petitions Mashymre into letting him fight the Zeta >Sees the letters "ZG" on a school playfield and immediately descends to threaten mass murder on all the schoolkids unless the Zeta comes out and fights >Gets whipped the moment Judau figures out how to use the Zeta's beam sabers
What a fricking psychopath. He's not even Zeon.
Skip living and meet god.
Eat shit. Finish it like an adult and then come back and apologize like the rest
It’s unironically better than zeta
This, but without trolling.

Being a contrarian doesn't make you an interesting person.
Everybody on /m/ is a contrarian. Normies don't like mecha and think it's dogshit.
Normies also watch the same reskinned isekai/high school/battle shonen anime over and over
repeatedly posting this sentence makes you the kind of person everyone puts on their fake polite social personality for, because they know you're too much of a hall monitor to have a real conversation with
You're trying too hard, contrarian.
>hall monitor
No phrase gives away "I'm still not over high school" quite like this one

But ZZ coming off the heels of Z really hurts it.

Both L-Gaim and Xabungle did ZZ better than ZZ itself
do whatever the frick you want

Skipping ZZ is the equivalent of not eating the crust on your pizza. Stop fricking whining and just watch it.
>I've seen 10 episodes and all sounds like an insult to Zeta's tragic ending
You talk like a gay and Kamille deserved everything he got for being one of the most unlikable gundam protags ever
the frick? I love kamille
sure as frick better than judo.
>ZZ Defense force getting triggered the frick out
don't be a b***h and power through it

Watch ep 11 to see ZZ debut then skip to episode 19

How do I stop the entire cast of ZZ from pissing me off? I had to stop watching the show because I dislike Judau that much he is so fricking boring.
Just watch it, you pussy.
You really don't have to be a mindless consumer and watch stuff you don't like for the sake of it. Just read a wiki article about ZZ. It's okay.
I really like ZZ, it has some of my favorite Mobile Suits and my favorite Mobile Armor aswell as Purus.
Sentiment on Zeta and ZZ seems to have flipped over the years.
It's just ZZgays being loud. ZZ was always hated.
No one else takes "bro just 30 episodes it gets good I swear" seriously
>yeah bro you should watch what others think is good and you should skip what others think is bad cause reddit told me so
Except I did watch ZZ.
>you can say ZZ is god's gift to man but god forbid you make fun of it
blow it out of your ass
It's almost as though irony poisoning, contrarianism and trolling result in morons adopting bad opinions loudly.
Right? Imagine liking a mass of concentrated autism like Zeta.
>tragic ending
it's a cliffhanger, you ignorant gay. Most of the staff started to work at ZZ halfway through Zeta's first airing already
>I've seen 10 episodes
Why torture yourself like that?
I would take a break after watching Zeta, maybe go watch some of the OVAs or spinoffs. ZZ is awesome, but the tonal whiplash is so bad in the first few episodes, you might just end up hating it. Judau is the best protagonist from the trilogy.
It's shit, you can safely skip it.
it gets good 40 episodes in
t. moronic ZZgay

You've posted this so many times in every ZZ thread.
What a shitty response. Do better next time
>next time
Damn you are gonna keep posting that entire wall of whining?
NO, you have to watch all of it. It's not even anime!
>Zeta's tragic ending
Retconned by ANT, along with a good chunk of ZZ.
>Retconned by [dogshit movie nobody cares about or even considers canon]
Zz is bad because war is bad. Tomino is just 20 steps ahead.
>10 episodes
not too far off they try orbital re-entry and you've got characters scream about how they don't want to die as their suit burns
it gets more on normal Gundam rhythm around there, after the Aztec Space Ninjas
Go watch it OP, they are waiting for you
Kitazume is such a shit artist, goddamn.
>zoomie sees something good
>zoomie: umm yeah this is actually bad

I wish people would stop treating CCA like some amazing end goal that you have to trudge through the other shows to get to
