There's the episode in season 21 where he becomes Homer's boss and fricks the French First Lady.
That's actually a good later episode. It has a lot of sexy moments

They're Rosencrantz and Guildenstern that's the archetype they have. I heard now they gave Lenny a black VA and plots to flesh him out, which kills the joke
I'm surprised they haven't done the coin gag from Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead with Lenny and Carl yet
To be fair, the joke/plot plays on the fact that Carl is a nothing character that even Homer and his friends know nothing about.

When Lenny and Carl are on a bus, Lenny sees a cloud that he thinks look like Carl and smiles, Carl sees the same cloud and instead of thinking it looks like Lenny thinks it looks like himself, he then smiles.

I mean isn't that the point? The Simpsons has a big cast but majority of that cast are one-off stereotypes or wacky zany caricatures. The joke is that Carl and Lenny are interchangeable despite race because in real life it's often the complete opposite.
