It was really a movie theater experience the sound quality was great and it really built up the tension in the first half. It does get pretty comical by the end but that first hour I could watch again and again they finally figured out Batman as a threat and not some rich dork in a bat costume

Every other Batman was moronic. Batfleck needed Alfred to tell him where to walk, Bale needed Alfred to tell him that some men are just mean while Fox gave him all his tech, and Clooney was dumb the first second he came onscreen.
The only bit of help Pattinson got from Alfred was when Alfred was kind enough to solve a cipher in his spare time and help him inspect it. Pattinson even remembered the advice he gave him, but investigated down another path.

Battinson was a moronic "detective". Bale did actual detective work tracking laundered money, crime scene investigation to identify a shooter, and followed the trail of dirty drugs to lead him to Scarecrow and his special toxin.
Deciding to focus on the "detective" side of Batman and then have your version be one of the least intelligent iterations of the characters was a bad call. I've seen several people say this, but I agree that the whole "rat with wings" bit was just embarrassing. Dano's Riddler also makes no sense. His plan didn't make sense. His decision to turn himself in made no sense. His autistic screeching made no sense. It's just a bad movie

it's not bad, just boring, long, and dark as shit, like i could barely see what was going on at times. I prefer Batman and Robin unironically because although that movie is terrible, it's an enjoyable watch, and doesn't take itself too terribly serious. Bad Movie > Boring Movie

It was the worst Batman and the best. Pattinson looked great as a young Bruce Wayne and as Batman, the Bat-mobile was awesome, Gotham city also looked awesome and cat woman was good too, but the plot was absolute garbage and some of the characters were terrible: riddler, joker, even penguin was pretty terrible. And nothing happened in the end, he just walked around brawling some people and saved some people from a flood and some thugs. Also the woke nonsense is always obnoxious and too many cliches and copying off other films. It was terrible but it had some good elements that’s why it’s such a frustrating film.
