ross was a shitty person and in later seasons they fricked up his character in order to make him butt of all the jokes (same thing they did with joey who by the end was a complete moron), but at least you laugh at him

She is actually among the best ones. Rachel and Ross are both insufferable. Rachel is actually toxic as frick and sabotaged every chance Ross had at happiness after they broke up whenever Ross didn´t ruin his relationships himself by being just terrible to women in general.
Monica starts as upbeat and ends up as a control freak that constantly admonish everyone for every little thing. Joey starts with streets smarts (just as Phoebe) but is then downgraded to the town´s clown. Chandler can be funny but he is consistently mean in a very passive aggressive way.
So ok Phoebe can be kind of political at times but most times is mostly out of genuine kindness. Also while she is usually weird there is one episode she was jaw dropping the hottest (pic related). And she has some good funny moments too so i think you are being unfair. True enough Phoebe doesn´t fully fit the group but let´s be honest, the group is shit.
