I watched the first 2 or 3 seasons of the Sopranos when the show first aired.
Then my cable company switched to digital, with a lot of networks still available in analog, except certain premium channels like HBO.
Once HBO got dropped from my cable, I realized after a month or so, that I didn’t give a shit the Sopranos was no longer available yo me, and never bothered renting the show to find out what happened.
Ally McBeal and Everwood were more exciting than the Sopranos.

Sopranos was good but don't get me wrong but I had higher expectations, I should've watched it first instead of the Shield so my expectations wouldn't be so grand.

That's fair. I really enjoyed it but I was glad that it ended. The show did a very good job of making everyone dislikable. Everyone was kinda dumb and self-satisfied just like real people are. Breath of fresh air
