>I didn't get my shiny trophy so that means I can kill innocent people
why does Cinemaphile think tai lung was in any way justified for his actions?

He broke his back for 20 years for nothing, and felt rejected by his father. He's an evil butthole, but he had a right to be pissed.
>for nothing
>felt rejected
snowflake generation
>grows up to be one of the strongest martial artists in the world.
I wouldn't say for nothing, he's still not the dragon warrior but not "nothing"
>Defeated by a big fat panda.
Wasn't so strong
Not anyone's problem but his own, and maybe Sifu's, and even then, Sifu never directly said "you're for sure the Dragon Warrior!", he just felt strongly since Tai Lung had such great promise
You sound like a woman
Sifu trained him with the expectation that he'd be the next dragon warrior. His fall was just as much Sifu's fault as it was Tai Lung's.
>Sifu never directly said "you're for sure the Dragon Warrior"
He literally did
This. Imagine you were raised to be the Chosen One, and even your own adoptive parent told you and believed you were the one all your life, only to be suddenly rejected despite being clearly superior to everyone else in the room. Not only that, but the parent you look up to doesn't even bother defending or vouch for you, despite putting all the hard work just to please him.
Yeah, you can say he was selfish, but I can understand his position. I had friends who were groomed since they were born to be the next doctor or a professional athlete of their family like their folks. Why? Because their grandparents were one so they had to continue the family tradition, only they didn't have the grades or physical talent to match up.
Those kinds of people end up being bitter, they blame their parents for wasting their lives on a field or subject they're not talented in just so their family can live vicariously through them, while their parents blame them for not putting in the effort or being the genetic disappointment that wasn't born with their skillset.
You know why this resonates with Asians so much? It's because many Asians have parents who expect their child to be the next Dragon Warrior, even if they're not.
There's a big difference between being pissed and destroying an entire village and probably killing innocent people
They should show it instead handwaving with a single line of dialogue
Tai Lung didn't get the title specifically because of his mentality, and he proved it the instant he was rejected. Instead of reflecting on why he wasn't given the title, he went on a rampage. Dude was too arrogant, the meaning of the scroll would have been lost on him either way.
The title is meaningless anyway,so let's give it to this crook with raspy voice
Because he's the villain, and contrarians want to root for whomever the story wants you not to
If Po had a similar backstory then the same people would be calling him 'the true villain of the story' and shit
shifu lied to him
>Make a thread yesterday
>Everyone make fun of you
>Retry a day later
Give up OP, your bait's stale
It's ok, it could have been worse, it could have been like Hitler after being rejected from art school.
>That one guy who saved a kid from drowning not knowing it's young Adolf
>Killed innocent people
The only people we can "confirm" he killed for certain were the rhino guards (the ones who didn't just guard him, but beat and mocked him on a daily basis).
Even then, they might have lived if they Hadn't lit the dynamite on the roof.
He is literally me homosexual seethe, I did nothing wrong.
Because this shithole is full of mentally ill people who never own up to their actions
