The pacing for the Blue Morpho trilogy was off and season 7 was a mostly unfunny mess full of unfulfilled potential. The movie was alright but it was kind of like playing with a dog for the last time knowing you need to put it down.

I finally get what Dr.Girlfriend meant about Monarch being genuine. A lot of villains like to grand stand about the few principles that they have. The Monarch isn't a White supremacist but he is willing to work with White Noise despite thinking his ideology is stupid. The Monarch knows that he is killer and he doesn't try to be politically correct. He doesn't do this performative "I maybe evil" shtick and he draws the line places that actually matter.
