They made all their characters gay/“bi”. Hard to take the characters seriously ever again.

They don’t respect their characters and universe (And they hire writers that hate their characters and universe).

And continuity is non-existent, causing comics to constantly contradict and feel disconnected from each other. Making it feel like nothing that happens in this universe matters.

Pretty much the reason why I stopped buying their books long ago too many shitty crisis events and reboots the less said about the New 52 the better just plain awful.

I think DC depends on Batman way too MUCH instead of focusing more on other characters. The fact that they put out 10 batman books on a monthly basis is clear evidence of this. Many people do not give a shit about them and prefer to ingore them instead and I cant't say I really blame them they really are way too many bat books frick them.

Because the books sell. DC readers don't give a shit about the other heroes. When fricking Moon Knight is outselling Superman, the Flash, Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman then you have a problem.

Putting Thorne on GL didn't do any favors.

Or whiteknighting Barry for so long to alienate the core Flash fans.

Or the constant creator reshufflings on Superman.

Didio left DC a flaming wreck and was going to crash the plane with no survivors and the people who replaced him haven't done any better.

          >Putting Thorne on GL didn't do any favors.
There's that, but then that period in which there were no GL books coming out. When Jeremy Adams' run finally came out, it got derailed by that stupid Nightmare event. Then it turns out that Jeremy Adams is a very boring writer and PKJ is wasting time writing about the most boring member of the GL.

We don't need so many batman books quite frankely I am sick of them besides there was period in the past when Green Lantern, was outselling batman and nobody was complaining about it then.

The problem is that the rest of DC is underperforming massively so of course they putting out more Batman to compensate.

And this will bring about their downfall since fans want more Superman, Green latern etc books etc.. NOT more batman books.

That's because the current books are ass and nobody wants to read them. Green Lantern was one of their more reliable sellers, but when Geoff Thorne became the writer, sales plummeted hard because nobody wanted what his selling.

They have their generational hits that work so well you barely realize it's a clown show run by idiot nepotism hires who wouldn't know an opportunity if it threatened to smother them.

Because the characters are black and white. There's no moral complexity. And they're never put in situations where their morals are being tested.

Marvel on the other hand has the entire spectrum of grey. Some heroes may seem just as questionable as the villains, in fact many times they agree with them. Also, as a consequence Marvel's characters change over time, they learn from their mistakes, so on and so forth.
