Uh? It does a pretty decent job of merging silent hill 2 and 3 what more do you want. The only thing is messes up on is NotHeather being scared. The director didn't understand the whole "she has God inside her" aspect.

It's a boring ass standalone horror film.
Because it visualised Silent Hill better than the then current 6th generation consoles could.
We got to see stuff like the transition between the fog world and the dark world, which was later added into the games.

Only part I actively hated was the nurse scene part, was far too on the head and video gamey.
the ONLY concept i liked from this movie was the end when the mom and daughter existed in another dimension and they were in the house while the husband missed them i thought that was cool. the rest of the movie is quite forgettable.
