I don’t know why but this episode creeps me the frick out. Stu acting like a baby and being able to understand the babies is just creepy.

The early Rugrats seasons have a great mix of dark humor and slightly creepy imagery, especially when the babies are actively scared of something and we see how terrifying it looks to someone who's only been around for a year or so. If the episode creeped you out, then I'd say it's a successful episode.
I think the voice Stu uses is an odd choice as well. He sounds a little...moronic.
Chuckie's Wondeful Life fricked me up.
I'M NOT TOMMY!!!
I found the episode funny as a kid, but rewatching it as an adult, especially when Tommy starts crying because his dad is 'never coming home' was pretty rough.
Same.
As a kid, I literally thought you could cure brain damage by hitting somebody in the head because of this trope. It shouldn't be used in anything that doesn't rely on Looney Tunes physics.
Based diaperbros. Wet or dry, we never die.
I'm reminded of my early childhood, being sick at home with a fever, laying on the couch with a blanket, and watching rugrats
stfu jack riley was a legend
Best time to watch kino.
>meanwhile kids with no cable
Then they tried repeating this in one of the movies.
I never liked this episode either, I completely forgot it even existed.
Even as a kid if I saw this episode was coming on I would change the channel. The idea of your parent, who you depend on to take care of you essentially falling into dementia was too disturbing for me
It's even creepier considering the whole board thing. Who could've know that the israeli show producers would insert their fetishes into a kid show.
I dislike the entire big baby trope.
This. I feel like it’s played for laughs but I think a large baby/adult in a diaper is just now naturally uncomfortable to watch and is creepy.
I have a diaper fetish and even I find it to be extremely off putting.
Da frick lol.
I hate that shit too and I'm into diapers, it's just creepy as hell.
its pretty funny though when it happens to girls haha
i hate it because of disdain for the mentally moronic
Yeah, it's creepy.
I'd probably hate this episode if I gave it a fresh watch, but since all I have are my childhood memories, the first thing my mind goes to is the joke where Didi takes Stu's money for a shopping spree and doesn't notice he's basically a moron. And that was pretty funny, so. No troper tales-style discomfort here.
Pay tribute to the alpha male, freeloader.
