is right. movie starts out fricking badass and turns lame as shit after gosling dies. like two different movies smashed together.
The third act ruins the movie. Not only is it lame and drags, it completely negates all the themes set up in the first two acts.
It literally brings the whole thing together. The entire point of the movie is the cruelty of fate, the sins of a father and their effects on a child. All of that is perfectly reflected in the end act (the best one btw)
