I don't tip women.

I don't tip women. They get enough help from the state and can make easy money from OnlyFans, Twitch or be provided for by a man. I generally don't tip non-white men but if they provide good service I'll tip. White men get tips always.

You make minimum wage and get paid at least minimum wage. Nobody makes it than that legally. If you didn't get enough tips, they would still pay you minimum wage. And since you get tips, you are paid from tips, but why do you care where the money comes from when ALL money that comes in belongs to you boss and you get paid according to your contract?

so whats the difference? You'll be paying it anyway. Tip culture allows for low skill labor to be more livable, allows poor people to better afford a nice night out, allows resteraunts to hire more staff, and insentivises waiters to provide good service. Everybody wins.

I only use uber eats. I think it's different from normal uber because it's mostly bikes. I've never tipped - it makes no sense, I'm literally already paying them for the delivery (and a faster delivery costs more, so you aren't even getting anything if you do tip). You don't tip a postman (though I have heard of people leaving them christmas gifts).

30% of the delivery fee or 30% of the tip? All I’m asking here is if the delivery person gets a decent wage for doing his job. I’m not saying 25$/hr or anything without tips but if it’s similar to waitresses 1.50$/hr without tips that’s fricked up.

That's not relevant to the discussion. It's also not relevant to the customer. That's between the employer/employee-business/contractor.

Because you’re paying for 2 different services. Paying to buy cooked food and paying to have someone bring you the stuff and wait on you. If they automatically put a 50% tip in to the cost of the service would you suddenly not care? Because now you’re not “paying twice”.

              Anonymous

No I'm not moron. The in store prices are "17 to 33 percent cheaper" as the additional charge is the delivery fee. Literally (literally) tipping is paying AGAIN for the service you just paid for, PLUS you have three tiers - slow, normal and fast, with different rates. So tipping doesn't even improve that service. Try using the app once in a while.

I don't tip. I don't believe in it. If a waitress doesn't make enough money she can quit. I don’t tip because society says I have to. All right, I mean I’ll tip if someone really deserves a tipping, if they really put forth the effort, I’ll give them something extra, but I mean this tipping automatically, it’s for the birds. I mean as far as I’m concerned they’re just doing their job. They make minimum wage. I used to work minimum wage and when I did I wasn’t lucky enough to have a job that society deemed tip worthy. When you go to McDonald’s you don’t feel the need to tip them do you? Well why not? They’re serving you food. But no, society says don’t tip these guys over here, but tip these guys over here. That’s bullshit. I mean I’m very sorry the government taxes their tips. That’s fricked up. That ain’t my fault. I mean it would appear that waitresses are one of the many groups the government fricks in the ass on a regular basis. I mean show a piece of paper that says the government shouldn’t do that, I’ll sign it, put it to a vote, I’ll vote for it, but what I won’t do is play ball. And this non-college bullshit I got two words for that: learn to fricking type, ’cause if you’re expecting me to help out with the rent you’re in for a big fricking surprise.
