Well shills stopped being paid and people with a generally positive impression but not overly positive impression won't bother to talk about it.
That leaves haters who won't ever shut up and real hardcore fans, of which there are few.
I think it’s more that people keep seeing how much phil and chris are overworking their animators and it’s pissing people off, they made a bunch of changes to the digital version on top of the theatrical run already having different versions and this came out after the controversies about how they overworked their animators. Frankly, that’s not a good look for a film series praised for its animation.
No, it's more about the fact Chris has aphantasia and needs fully rendered scenes in order to direct so the fixed audio version accidentally ended up being a different, older cut
Here’s a video about the differences between the two theatrical versions https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXffQLaQS9k https://twitter.com/chrisagwrites/status/1689421335242416129
Oh yeah, the second link is a twitter about the digital version, which has completely different version from the two theatrical versions
Thanks, anon.
This kind of tweaking just seems weird. I remember they re-released cats to fix makeup and costume errors. But this just seems like a lot of changes due to indecisiveness.
Because now it's online so more people are seeing it
Of course the rabid shill fans will cuck out and pay $25 to see it in a theater will be the ones to say how great it is
Now the rest of us with no skin in the game are watching it and can be honest about it
Well the first one is a movie that can stand on its own as a standalone film. Meanwhile this one is made with the intent of it being a single story literally cut in half. So rather than getting anything of a complete story, we only get the beginning half of it
The deleted scene for Miguel really showed how bad the story's premise is.
Are there any other movies where the protagonist is so blatantly in the wrong?
The deleted prowler one spoils the cliff hanger since now we know in that universe he's a Robin hood type vigilante taking on the cartels and not a villain
Miguel Calling, it paints the film in a totally different way. By different, I mean it really shows how childish Miles is.
It's a DELETED scene for a reason genius, it's not the story of the final product. It's like saying Puss in boots 2 is actually bad because the deleted scenes had modern spongebob tier humor.
>it's not the story of the final product.
What IS the final product? The first theatrical cut? The second? The digital release? The featurettes they decided to include on the DVD? This movie's "final product" is flakier than TLOP.
Miguel is turning me on

Like pic related?

>aphantasia
Why would you ever hire a person like that to be in charge of a visual medium?
Has anyone detailed these supposed theatrical run changes? Or is this just some rumor?

Wew, I felt my testosterone drop listening to that guy talk
Many such a cases.
You're certainly are making this same thread more often, if that's what you mean.
Really, I haven’t seen a spiderverse hate thread on Cinemaphile in like a month.
You've been on at odd house then.

Wasn't great, really cheapens the first one

What deleted scene, show me
Miguel Calling, it paints the film in a totally different way. By different, I mean it really shows how childish Miles is.
Post the scene

>he thought they'd make a black villain in 2023
lmao

They still release DVDs?
I feel like most of the losers on this site, you're a terminally online loser that spends too much time in contrarian loser echo chambers.
>people are turning against this film
>no proof of it
Must be sad being a contrarian, but I heard a noose around your neck solves it
They're turning on the digital release being an inferior version to the theaters, not the movie itself
the dislike the digital animation
They shouldn't have cut the Bar With No Name
