When you're like 6 weeks in, they can be calmly explaining something to the flight, but if see 1st weekers they'll drop what they're doing and rush over to the new flight and go ape shit with the yelling and screaming. Then they'll return and calmly continue what they were doing with their flight.

You can get punished in basic, doesn't matter if its a male or female drill instructor. They'll simply send you back a week or two, so you'll have go to a repeat it and spend a few more weeks in basic.
If you really frick up and say get caught sleeping on guard duty, they'll just straight kick you out and send you home.

When I enlisted I was actually in shape and had discipline and was used to violence and getting yelled at. When you're way above the baseline physically and mentally and recognize it as a dumb game there's nothing the DIs can do to you. You don't even need to kick their ass, just being able to fire out 100 push ups in the rain at 3am with a smile on your face and being able to run a mile faster than they can causes absolute seething because there's nothing they have that can cause you duress. They're used to dealing with borderline morons, out of shape weaklings, and soft and when you're not any of those they got absolutely nothing they can do to you and they know it and you know it, so the hardest thing becomes trying to avoid getting groomed for bullshit occupations that are too essential for your average military moron but are either dogshit pay with no civilian equivalent occupation to transfer the skills or exceptionally dangerous and not worth the risk of life long injury or shit like cancer and neurological disorders from all the weird chemicals and materials involved.
