Why didn't Cecil try to clone Nolan or Mark? When Nolan was in a coma why didn't he take some DNA or whatever to clone him? Or when Mark got fricked up by Battle Beast.

Without getting too much into spoilers: Cecil does have contingencies.
Well yeah I saw S1 where he throws reanimated men cyborgs at Nolan, a giant laser from space, and drops a kaiju on his head.
Cloning tech exists, we see the Maulers using it.
Let's just say Cecil was not making excuses when he said he wasn't prepared for Omni-man to "defect". Also the Invincible Universe powerscales like crazy, not as much as some comics and manga have done over decades, but Invincible scales faster than most. Trust me when I say you haven't begun to see the major fights or weapons yet.
>Cloning tech exists
We also see how difficult it must be to perfect, as robot goes out of his way to contact the maulers despite being a genius himself and now likely having some access to some government technology
Doubt the government would trust any of the heroes after Nolan's betrayal to ever give them the real good shit
Yeah, cloning tech exists and it makes exact copies of the person being cloned, right down to their personality. Do you want two Omnimen flying around?
Do you think they would team up or immediately try to kill eachother?
MK1 Omni Man vs Omni Man dialogue helps me headcanon they'd fight it out
Clone Mark then also is that just the Maulers or cloning in general? Cause if cloning in general that's fricking duuumbbbbbb
MK1 dialogue seems to go along the notion one is from a universe where Mark did side with his dad.
But yea its fight either way.
>Yeah, cloning tech exists and it makes exact copies of the person being cloned, right down to their personality
ACKCHUALLY, the clone is pretty much an empty vessel until the Maulers copy memories into them, its a two step process, clone and then imprint memories and personality
I will now write a physically same age as Mark; Nolan clone or a Mark clone with a OC who got isekai'd. Thanks anon!
oh god no
You tell me. Nah, just kidding. Robert Kirkman here, I’m glad you posted this. His DNA was too unstable to clone. The US government actually tried to clone Omni-Man early in his career - it ended with a distorted copy that had none of his powers and died horribly. Thanks for asking!
Hey Robert while I have you here, why did you make everyone but Mark useless?
I already know how the series ends because of my poking around on its wiki years before the show was even announced.
The name of the book was Invincible, it’s his story. And it seems to be a hit, as the TV adaptation is now making me even more money. So why don’t you go jump in front of a bus, little guy?
That's a lazy excuse Robert.
What you're asking will actually be answered later on in the show, or do you just want spoilers?
Why not take some sperm
Who's going to milk it?
Cecil
Ao3..
Would take too long I imagine.. unless they have tech that can speed grow someone like Vulcan got speed grown in Marvel.
How would they control the clone?
Same way Mark in the prime timeline doesn't become a shit heel when Nolan starts having his mission fulfillment fantasies.
A loving milfy mom
When has making a clone ever been a good idea?
Pretty sure everyone who's tried to use Kaine to their own ends has ended up worse off for it.
Aren’t viltrumites and made of smart atoms or something? That could render cloning impossible cause you can’t get DNA or their biology is too impossibly complex to replicate or something
