I still don't get this joke or why it became a meme
It was a reference to the jazz Musician Troy Sneed who died in 2021 of Covid.
It was a really forced liberal "haha he died because he was antivaxx" reference.
Shouldn't it be "Formerly Sneed" then
That's what I thought too, apparently the idea was that it was dramatic irony because Chuck died of covid and then Sneed met the same fate.
There's a reason they say The Simpsons declined after this episode, they hadn't figured out yet that they could just make Lisa do monologues every time they wanted to shoehorn in their politics.
