Most of people either are aware of where it started, or don't give a frick, because that's not really relevant. There are plenty of pairings that were hinted over years in marvel comics and weren't ever fulfilled (Tony / Pepper ffs). And yeah, BP/Storm's wedding was written by Hudlin, so it does count as Obama wankery
