She started off on sub-Plastic Man levels of shapeshifting, doing things like transforming into other people like Mystique or even abstract objects like an abandoned sofa in one issue. Then she got nerfed because her creator suddenly decided she didn't like those powers anymore.
Kind of a shame. I enjoy creative cartoony shapeshifters, but I get finding the appearance rather off-putting when applied to someone with Kamala's looks.
