To this day i wonder how is this franchise that started as an ecologist cartoon about two bears living in the forest with their other animal friends and also stoping Vick from cutting the trees evolves to Robots with advance ai that makes them have personality and emotions, time traveling, advance tecnology that makes humans turn into furries, aliens, mechas, sci fi, complex Lore.
I am not complening, but i think is kinda interesting as someone who has watch all of the movies.
It's a long running show so just having ecological lessons taught in every episode isn't gonna be good enough long-term. Therefore, expanding the lore of the universe they're in can lead to diverse stories being told.
This doesn't sound too far off to what happened with Ice Age
