If I remember it’s not that it’s a bad episode but I remember half way through looking up if the rapper ever comes back in the show and saw he never does, nor does this conflict. Then I was like >…….wait this episode really has no purpose then it’s filler.
While watching it I was disgusted by all the mulignans in it, but more so, something just felt off about the episode, like the writers phoned it in that day. Wanting to make sure it wasn't just due to my hatred of mulignans, I looked up the episode on IMDB and it's the lowest rated one by far, I think the only one that is rated under an 8.
It's clearly filler trash, and if you can't see that, I weep for your IQ.
There's so much to dislike about it. The black characters are basically cartoons, the dialogue is mostly horrible (I like the line about Godfather 3), the Cusamano subplot is totally overbaked too. Every normal citizen is afraid of Tony for the first 9 episodes, and then he plays golf with a couple of buttoned-up types and they're asking him about hits and John Gotti without fear? And Tony glares at Cooz with contempt, but Cooz keeps leaning into the questioning afterward? Get the frick outta here.
Oh, and the hilarious montage of Hesh looking at the wall of photos which is unintentionally funny.
i dont skip any episodes but if I did it would be D Girl and A Hit is a Hit, the third one you listed isnt particularly bad to me and i just watched it
A hit is a hit is fricking great. >aide being a clueless bimbo >who’s welfare check? >the hesh origin story >spike up >chasing zebras >massive genius being a poser homosexual >chris vouching and trying to back massive genius because he’s starstruck and hesh telling him to frick off >meow >paulies “or what” and about to go postal on massive gs crew >the best thing they can come up with is a legal threat, which hesh countered
Some other shit too. I forget the other plotline. Dgirl does kinda suck. Did the redhead show her breasts?
The funniest part was toneh talking about that kid they bullied in school >Did the redhead show her breasts
From what I can remember, yeah. The part which stuck out the most with me though was pussy crying in the toilet.
How is he forced? israelites were always in cahoots with the mafia and the sopranos is one of the only shows that doesn't sugar coat the israelite shit. Hesh I'd a scumbag and the sopranos named the israelite. Frick you.
>dream sequences
I agree with everything you said, but the dream sequences are some of the most kino in the whole show and almost makes me think this whole post is bait and OP is a gay.
when i first watched sopranos i got so into it that i started binge watching. that coupled with a couple of weak episodes in season 4 and the columbus day which was cherry on top prompted me to drop it. tok me months to get back to it, forgot half the story, characters etc.
rewatched sopranos couple of years back and the same thing happened again
This is my least favorite as well. What were they thinking centering an episode on something that fricking tedious and irrelevant?
When I heard people disliked Columbus, it kind of clicked in my head why people were filtered so hard off the ending. I get the episode shows the mob as incompetent but it’s still a funny episode >Italians getting offended that natives want a little protest >they literally go out of their way to frick with these natives and it feels like a bugs bunny episode >the scene with Ralph showing up to the natives with blackmail and them being like “wait shit did you know about that?” >the ending scene
This is like the fly/nippy episode from breaking bad and better call Saul except I’ll give those credit cause they tried to be artistic whereas Christopher was just a funny episode concept and funny execution
one ep I think isnt as bad in retrospect on my 4th or so viewing is the one with Johnny Boy's goomar because the way Tony's memory of his father and certain details disintegrate in real time all culminating in that traumatic Happy Bday Mr. President scene are all really well done, the getting money from Phil and Hesh part was odd though
Watching it for the first time and currently on episode 5 of the second season and I already hate the c**t.
Also, by the look of this thread, is there episodes I should skip?
No, don’t be a fricking pleb. You hating the prick means he’s a good character and tbh he was masterfully acted by David Proval. The Season 2 finale is one of the best episodes in the series.
>is there episodes I should skip?
Not the first time
How else are you going to shitpost about the bad episodes if you've never seen them?
besides, you already saw the Massive Genius rapper episode, there's only one other episode in the series worse than that one
I have to say, the prison hospital Johnny Sack was in did not seem half bad.

That's what being a boss is. You steer the ship the best way you know. Sometimes it's smooth. Sometimes you hit the rocks. In the meantime you find your pleasures where you can
>Richie Aprile is a shit character.
What are you talking about? He's a good character.
Proval nails the psychopathic "look" in his demeanor and especially his eyes. I've met people with that "look" of an utter lack of empathy in prison before. Probably as real as it gets.
I only watch the scene where Paulie killed Christopher after Christopher crashed a car with Paulie in the passenger seat. Paulie decided it was finally time to rid himself of his "weak, lying drug addict" of an associate and suffocated him.
I can't stand to rewatch the show anymore, it has way too much fluff about his family and it's a bit too comedic so when it turns dramatic the impact is pretty flat. I just rewatch clips on Youtube and leave it at that.
Season 2 is among the best, what the frick is wrong with you plebs?
>Richie Aprile is a shit character.

S3E1 is kind of cartoonish for the Sopranos, I agree. But S2E13 is fricking kino, the best episode of Season 2, actually feels like an S4 or S5 episode, the moment when the show actually got serious. Anyway, 4 dollars a pound
Columbus Day is the funniest episode in the Sopranos >the scene with all them chilling in the Satriales talking shit about the Indians https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBD61skoMk8&pp=ygUYdG9ueSBhbmQgc2lsdmlvIGNvbHVtYnVz >the rally scene, Patsy taking off the Columbus puppet, Artie being a pussy, Little Paulie hurt as always https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x948IVD1zIo&pp=ygUbY29sdW1idXMgZGF5IHJhbGx5IHNvcHJhbm9z >Tony smacking Patsy in the back of the head
and the funniest scene in the show >Tony and Silvio's argument at the end https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XhZcWCbPEC0&t=1s&pp=ygUYdG9ueSBhbmQgc2lsdmlvIGNvbHVtYnVz
>Columbus Day one are the worst, everyone feels so out of character.
Yeah when I originally watched this episode, this is what stuck out to me. Sal's character is defined by being level headed, cautious and diplomatic and in this episode he becomes some unthinking fanatical zealot just because they needed SOME character to fill the role and decided he should be the one. It felt more like an episode of the Wire than the Sopranos because they shoehorned in a PBS special about "current thing" rather than a typical filler episode.
How the frick can you skip the dream sequences they are some of the best parts of the show. Literally what else are you watching it for if not the profound and weird shit that goes on inside the minds of the characters? But I relate to skipping D-Girl on rewatch I fricking hate watching Chris fail at Hollywood but the ending is kino as frick.
My estimation of OP as a man just frickin plummeted
those episodes are just fats and nitrates
you're a mental midget
I'd pump so many loads into this old prostitute shed be looking like pic related
>A Hit is a Hit
I never understood the hoopla about this episode, it seemed fine to me, nothing out of the ordinary
in a show where almost every episode is a banger, the handful that are just a decent 45 minutes stick out like a sore thumb
If I remember it’s not that it’s a bad episode but I remember half way through looking up if the rapper ever comes back in the show and saw he never does, nor does this conflict. Then I was like
>…….wait this episode really has no purpose then it’s filler.

I love that episode
There's so much to dislike about it. The black characters are basically cartoons, the dialogue is mostly horrible (I like the line about Godfather 3), the Cusamano subplot is totally overbaked too. Every normal citizen is afraid of Tony for the first 9 episodes, and then he plays golf with a couple of buttoned-up types and they're asking him about hits and John Gotti without fear? Oh, and the hilarious montage of Hesh looking at the wall of photos which is unintentionally funny.
Its boring as frick after the first watch and the half-baked racial commentary is cringe.
All Chris episodes are kino. So L for that. But, I also skipped every single dream sequence on my rewatch and you miss nothing. So W there.
Vaxx really made a number on ya
again with the vaccines
>it was vaccines, Im better now!
Massive Genius, or Massive moron, as I like to call him
You will be hearing from my lawyer
i dont skip any episodes but if I did it would be D Girl and A Hit is a Hit, the third one you listed isnt particularly bad to me and i just watched it
>D-girl
that episode has the hottest chick in the series, are you gay or something?
He was gay, OP?
He's gay now
legit overrated, her eyes are beady little ugly things
Not sure about hottest overall, but up there.
That's nothing. My last "only Tony scenes" rewatch was pure bliss.
youve been filtered if you think the family and slice of life scenes arent just as good as the rest of the show
Tony's my favorite, cuz he's Da Boss!
What is wrong with you people
Do we have a problem?
A hit is a hit is fricking great.
>aide being a clueless bimbo
>who’s welfare check?
>the hesh origin story
>spike up
>chasing zebras
>massive genius being a poser homosexual
>chris vouching and trying to back massive genius because he’s starstruck and hesh telling him to frick off

From what I can remember, yeah. The part which stuck out the most with me though was pussy crying in the toilet.
Wait was that the same episode were tony goes golfing with the wonderbread wops? That was a one episode plotline
Hesh is such a forced israelite insert
How is he forced? israelites were always in cahoots with the mafia and the sopranos is one of the only shows that doesn't sugar coat the israelite shit. Hesh I'd a scumbag and the sopranos named the israelite. Frick you.
A hit is a hit also has the best outro song.
dont be so gay
also defiler are kino
Skipping a 45 second dream sequence is more work than watching it. Zoomer brains are fricked
>Skipping a 45 second dream sequence is more work than watching it
man, americans are grim
>no u
Got em!
I thought the worst episode was the one with the bear, but I never hear anyone talk about it
>dream sequences
I agree with everything you said, but the dream sequences are some of the most kino in the whole show and almost makes me think this whole post is bait and OP is a gay.
>Filtered by Test Dream
OP is unprepared.
I just realized that's Horseface from the Wire
>don’t worry kid, you’re still on the clock
How could you skip Kevin Finnerty?
>Dream Sequences
episode with columbus day sucks ass.
when i first watched sopranos i got so into it that i started binge watching. that coupled with a couple of weak episodes in season 4 and the columbus day which was cherry on top prompted me to drop it. tok me months to get back to it, forgot half the story, characters etc.

That episode was great, it shows how leftypol circles try to taint these historical figures
i skip all the therapy shit and carmella scenes
I feel you
Skip every Black person episode, obviously. Chrissy makes a joke about welfare and that’s it, not missing anything.
Wow you’re so cool and rebellious. Thanks for the blogpost!
season 6 is usually where I lose interest
D-girl is one of the best episodes
one ep I think isnt as bad in retrospect on my 4th or so viewing is the one with Johnny Boy's goomar because the way Tony's memory of his father and certain details disintegrate in real time all culminating in that traumatic Happy Bday Mr. President scene are all really well done, the getting money from Phil and Hesh part was odd though
Yeah that's the only ep i used to skip but it grew on me too. Everyone else in this thread that skips anything are a giant homosexuals.
Favreau's script with the troony story, whatever happened there? Abandoned sub-plot?
yeah I skip the coma episodes and the Black person israelite plotline every rewatch. it is so fricking boring
favreau that wienersucker
i skip the whole series except the part where junior puts a pie in a womans face haha
>hey Cinemaphile i have the reddit opinion and do the reddit thing whne watching sopranos
you don't say
I always skip season 2. Richie Aprile is a shit character.
Watching it for the first time and currently on episode 5 of the second season and I already hate the c**t.

He's an aggressive little Black person, Janice did everyone a solid wasting him
Season 2 is among the best, what the frick is wrong with you plebs?
Beans did not deserve to get chaired
Low brow Sopranos watcher.
That's
This homosexual
I'm the same guy
A two time loser
What are ya gonna do?
He couldn't fricking sell it.
I have to say, the prison hospital Johnny Sack was in did not seem half bad.
Well they did have the worlds smartest orderly.
I like how John said frick it and started smoking again
That's what being a boss is. You steer the ship the best way you know. Sometimes it's smooth. Sometimes you hit the rocks. In the meantime you find your pleasures where you can
kek of course not but that's what you get when you deal with criminals
>Richie Aprile is a shit character.
What are you talking about? He's a good character.
Proval nails the psychopathic "look" in his demeanor and especially his eyes. I've met people with that "look" of an utter lack of empathy in prison before. Probably as real as it gets.
I have a jacket for you
>and all the dream sequences
Filtered, The Test Dream is the best episode, you pleb.
Second to Funhouse for me but still one of the best episodes
Fatfrick
I only watch the scene where Paulie killed Christopher after Christopher crashed a car with Paulie in the passenger seat. Paulie decided it was finally time to rid himself of his "weak, lying drug addict" of an associate and suffocated him.
>Paulie killed Christopher
>Paulie
Fricking moron
I skip In Camelot every time unless I’m watching for educational purposes
>skipping episodes
>like ever
What is wrong with you people?
Any shit with AJ or Meadow can take a hike
I can't stand to rewatch the show anymore, it has way too much fluff about his family and it's a bit too comedic so when it turns dramatic the impact is pretty flat. I just rewatch clips on Youtube and leave it at that.
You were filtered
>muh filtered
No I don't care about anything Meadow does. This is a fricking soap opera at times.
You don't like the show besides the memes because you were filtered. It is a high budget soap opera and a character study and a commentary on society.
Filtered.
Wow, that all sounds so fricking gay. Truth be told, I do prefer True Detective.
Like i said, you were filtered.
The dream sequences are the best scenes in my opinion.
>it’s called being based T
>getting filtered by A Hit is A Hit
What about the one about indians and christopher colombus
christopher
S02E13 and S03E01 are both shit and they're back to back. Those and the Columbus Day one are the worst, everyone feels so out of character.
You're moronic.
S3E1 is kind of cartoonish for the Sopranos, I agree. But S2E13 is fricking kino, the best episode of Season 2, actually feels like an S4 or S5 episode, the moment when the show actually got serious. Anyway, 4 dollars a pound

I skip all episodes on my daily rewatch
WE'RE GONNA DEFILE, DEFILE YOU
STAY OUT OF OUR WAY
AND DON'T BE SO GAY
How the frick can you skip the dream sequences they are some of the best parts of the show. Literally what else are you watching it for if not the profound and weird shit that goes on inside the minds of the characters? But I relate to skipping D-Girl on rewatch I fricking hate watching Chris fail at Hollywood but the ending is kino as frick.
