I have a question for you. Why hasn't The Question ever received his own film or TV series?

There is a secret ~~*cabal*~~ of media moguls who don't want him to reveal the truth!

Why? Because the powers that be know he would wake people up to the truth.

Name 3 interesting things about either Question that isn't from the DCAU or isn't just something you can do in a Batman thing. There's you're answer.

One's a rich orphan with matial arts training and expensive gadgets, another is a an investigate journalist turned vigilante detective on diet Objectivism with a focus on politics. Trying to merge everything street level into a Batman gestalt is fricking moronic for all characters concerned, including Batman.

      >That isn't from the dcau
That's the issue though. The best version of the character hasn't been used very much. O'neil's question sucks dick and Ditko's isn't much better. Dcau gave him potential and they've done nothing with it

      O’Neill's run. Boom done.

Both of you prove my point exactly. No one can even agree what version of him is good kek.

Just make a composite of the best thing each interpretation of the Question has to offer. O'neill's is a good blueprint because he fleshed out Vic as a character outside of the mask as a real person with his own set of issues that helped to explain the transformation the character suffered, from a brash objectivist vigilante to a more disciplined and subdued zen vigilante. DCAU Question nails something else, he has a form of "charisma" just the sheer entertaining factor makes you want to see more of him.

Trying to get Cinemaphile to agree on anything is basically impossible.

That doesn't prove anything. Plenty of characters have popular but shitty interpretations. Just ignore homosexuals like this

          O’Neill's run. Boom done.

and the show could be good. Seriously any anons who like O'Neil and are reading this I strongly urge you to get some taste.

His dialogue is unnatural, he has hilariously moronic politics that he is incapable of subtly inserting into his work, his character writing is flippant, and his stories are just plain boring and/or stupid. Don't take my word for it though. Just read Green Arrow and Green Lantern and you'll understand how shitty he is

NTA, I know GL/GA was in the mid to late 70s and was a dogshit run but surely there was a change in tone after a decade right?

His Question run isn't as dogshit as that run but it still has problems. I'll say I don't hate his Batman stuff to show im not a blind hater.

because if they have a cool guy hero talk about conspiracy theories it'll get kids interested in real CTs and they'll find out theyre true and the people who publish cartoons dont want their audience knowing how they rape kids

Wasn't like the town he's from super comically edgy to the point of absurdity? Like one homeless guy went up to couple asking for money or food or something, then the couple finds out the baby is actually a corpse, homeless guy shrugs, and then throws the corpse in the trashcan and keeps walking.

Like, not even the people from Gotham would do that. If that's what from I recall, I can see why it would never an adaptation and why his most remembered appearance is on the DCAU.

Yes, Hub City is a ridiculously corrupt, crime ridden shithole even by DC standards. Unlike Gotham literally being cursed by evil magic, there isn't even a reason for it other than humans are buttholes.

This is like asking why doesn't DC make a Green Lantern show and base it on the DCAU version.
