I like how it started but it never became a favorite for me. I respect its success and am very glad for the fans of it tho. Its hard to find a hero universe that just clicks.
It loses steam in the last third, especially with the time jumps, which are unnecessary bullshit, but it sticks the landing on the actual climax and ending well enough for me to have felt like it was worth it. Which is far more than you can say for the vast majority of other comics, seeing as most don't even HAVE an ending to frick up.
Mark doesn't have a choice. Even if he wanted to recuse Omni-Man, he couldn't. He doesn't know where he's being held, he's not strong enough to break him out, and he has no allies that would want to save Omni-Man.
If Omni-Man is gonna break out, it won't be due to Mark, it'll be something else that breaks him out.
I'm just not a fan of stories that rely on mutliverses, multiple dimensions, and multiple timeskips. Too often they are easy outs for lazy writers to avoid the consequences of their actions or having to focus on the same cast and setting to create a good story with proper pacing. The instant they get introduced in a serious story I immediately lose interest. I acknowledge that it's still good and well-written, but it could have been better if it avoided those traps.
Every fricking character acts like a moron at some point in the story. The most based were Robot and Battle Beast but both of them done pretty dumb things themselves. Kirkman is a hack and a cuck and it shows

It's easy and fun to read book but it has issues. Serious issues. If you just want turn off your brain, like Kirkman or Millar writing, then sure. If you want something higher 6/10 than look somewhere else.

I like his suit, it's giant i like in Image Comics, also nice color pallette. His other suit is shit tho
