I'm a kino brainlet but even with the Mr. Plinkett videos there was a lot of film criticism and talk of how to tell stories well that was interesting to hear. Some guys laughing at how bad something is in the moment without the analysis isn't as interesting to me. Yeah, it sucks, I know it sucks, but I want to know what someone who's seen a million films and tried their hand at making a few observes about the work that a rando off the street like me wouldn't.
