If you're depressed and you feel like shit because you are unhealthy, you can at least improve your health, then you'll be depressed and healthy. You'll feel slightly better and you can be more active and get your head in a better place. Depression isn't an on/off switch, it's a combination of everything. You can't change how much dopamine your body produces but you can change the negative thoughts, you can fix your testosterone levels, eat healthy. Depression is something that snowballs, a lot of small issues piling up until there is a breaking point. You have to snowball it into the other direction. Spoony just drinks and eats fast food and doesn't work. He was pretty much the only funny person on that guy with the glasses and could have had small mainstream success.
