You are the problem. You have no problem watching a shitty movie about guys in capes flying and shooting pew pew beams like morons as long as it pushes your agenda, you big moron.
I'm glad this whole infantilization machine is crashing down.

Maybe insulting your target audience is a poor business practice? But, blaming the customer is a lot easier than creating compelling content, so I see that too

And people will continue to not spend money, and they will eventually run out, or everyone will be unaffected because they're not watching anyway. It's done. They've milked the framework of le heroes journey to death. They have to move on to the next one to exploit ad-nauseum just like romcoms before them. If anything, romcoms are poised to get a revival with how much foundational truths about relationships have changed over the course of the last 20 years. Jennifer Lawrence's new movie may be a sign of that coming back around. AI-based writers and directors should work to make that happen for great success. Note: I hate paint by numbers movies and working off of frameworks like that. I'm just pointing out that's where the next big chance at easy wins is.
Honestly even with a smaller budget flash would have bombed. It's only when you get sub 70 m that its run becomes decent. But such a budget is unrealistic.
Having a lower budget would have worked for lighter flop this year such as quantumnia and Fast X.
I don’t think we’ll find another big fad for a while. Video game adaptions look like an obvious choice, but games with name recognition power on Mario’s level are incredibly rare, so they’d have to have some decent writing to back it up, which won’t happen.
An organic fad would need a movie with charismatic leads to kickstart the process, and right now there just aren’t any who aren’t over the hill. They need fresh faces they can milk for a decade, and the current crop of forced meme actors are already getting stale by associating with Capeshit.
>financiers are going to be way less likely to back comic book movies in general
good. these movies don't need to have such insane budgets when they just waste the money on horrible-looking cgi clusterfricks made by hilariously overworked jeets and californian homosexuals
>writers strike >capeshit dying >possible actors strike
Things are looking up, but Hollywood is still pozzed as frick. Gonna need some producer and studio deaths to really get things going.
I would argue that there's nothing more important to film/cinema/whatever the frick you wanna call it than to pump the brakes on all these fricking super hero movies
ive been waiting for such good news since last 10 years
fpbp

Cinema is healing.
Oh no, the movies about strongmen in leotards punching other strongmen are gonna stop? How will society recover?
If only that was actually what these movies were about.
Good
Holy shit finally. It's been like 15 fricking years.
this is what we refer to as "selling past the sale"
Fricking finally.
the fever has broken
That's too bad
Yes really happy thanks for asking.
Thank frick
The ironic thing is he is wrong too. It won't stop shit, however audience's will be blamed more and more. Its only just began.

Do I deserve a medal for it? That's not for me to say, but yes.
>Flash movie
>people only show or talk about Batman
The problem is the ever increasing costs to making movies.
If you bring in $400m+ (especially during a cost of living crisis) and your movie is making a loss then you have serious problems

>you are killing super hero movies
they cannot die twice
Now Hollywood has to find something new to shamelessly milk dry for the next decade

>I hope you are all happy
I am.
My peepee after reading the OP
The movie isn't even that bad. Better than like half the MCU, should have easily made 500m-800m globally
>You WILL consoom product and you WILL like it
would be nice to go at least a decade with no superhero movies
Why did you crop out the twitter handle you stupid homosexual OP? Your previous thread didn't get the traction you wanted. homosexual
>to all people who hate comic book movies
>we will not screen anymore comic book movies
>be sad and ashamed
???
Superhero movies peaked with Unbreakable
Glad its finally dying
>financiers are going to be way less likely to back comic book movies in general
good. these movies don't need to have such insane budgets when they just waste the money on horrible-looking cgi clusterfricks made by hilariously overworked jeets and californian homosexuals
i wish
It probably died earlier, but when they started doing story arcs was when the body started to stink
>writers strike
>capeshit dying

Hollywood basically needs to the israelites to think that it's not profitable anymore, so they collectively leave
Flash didn't bomb? Sounds like seething marvel troony bs.
best news i've read all year
>why didn't you give millionaires your money you chuds???
how the frick did flash fail yet that shitty nog spiderman cartoon made half a billion?
people really think they are curing racism and shit by tossing money at things like this, its bizarre
>you WILL keep buying the slop and maybe we will put something edible in there maybe later (we wont)
I would argue that there's nothing more important to film/cinema/whatever the frick you wanna call it than to pump the brakes on all these fricking super hero movies
Needing $500m to make a profit for just a normal hero rather than your big climax movie Is ridiculous. Especially given the level of CGI.
They need to get smarter at spending money
Good, comic book nerds deserve the rope
Very happy. Death to the lugenpresse.
Heil victory gentlemen.
