Representation is moronic because you can not represent everyone with a single character and it puts a burden on that character to be more than a good character, but instead something everyone can see themselves in. A Mexican who grows up in Nevada does not have the same life experience as one growing up in SoCal, or New York, or New Mexico or Mexico City. They're all different people. Writers and directors need to be more concerned with telling strong stories and less concerned with how those stories will impact the masses.

Palmero city change from El Paso might be the biggest thing that basically changed everything that made Jamie Reyes Blue Beetle good. Instead of him being in a small city kid who gets thrust into this weird world of alien tech and coming to terms with it we instead just get a movie about "Familia" He wasnt even really a super hero, this could have just been DOPE but with Latinos, it barely felt like a superhero movie.
