Doan movie is set in the Origin timeline. So Jaburo happens before Odessa, meaning Sleggar and his custom GM join earlier. Ryu is dead by this point as he gets offed in the Ral arc

The amount of materiel and manpower sent to die against the White Base in the original series was pretty staggering.
