I know everyone here hates him, but Ryan Reynolds was literally perfect casting for Deadpool. His voice and style of comedy fits Deadpool's humor so well.
...Which is why it's weird that the first live action take on Deadpool, in the Wolverine movie, was serious and edgy despite the casting of Reynolds, but at least they realized they had struck gold with the casting choice and kept him when they started making real Deadpool movies.

Another thread where anon talks out his ass for (You)s.
I suppose I just automatically assume this board is going to have the exact same opinions as Cinemaphile most of the time.
There is one anon that posts the same threads from here on Cinemaphile, but other than that, it's generally accepted that Ryan is a bretty gud Deadpool.
no, I hate him, and it's not just the movies
that's not me fyi, source: I don't have a hdd full of pictures of famous kids feet
I hate him because when they were launching Green Lantern they ran this bullshit Facebook thing where for I think it was like 100,000 likes on the fricking GL page, he'd "personally" donate $10,000 to charity and
honestly that kind of shit can get to frick, either he's actually donating it himself and should just fricking do it, or it was part of the marketing budget and they shouldn't have put him up to that kind of shitty agreement and just paid it anyway
but either way I can't forgive his silence on the matter, that's truly shitty, which is a shame because he seems like an otherwise nice guy in most respects
>I can't forgive his silence on the matter
anon are you 12
no I just hate people who are fricking weak, like Ryan Reynolds
imagine being told what to do by marketing
ok, very much pubescent, got it
starfricker
>I can’t fathom how the walmart employee could ring up my nestle chocolate bar without speaking out against the abuse committed against South American workers
>her silence on the matter makes me sick
Did you watch Deadpool 2? If it makes you feel better, Deadpool killed Ryan Reynolds for making Green Lantern.
I don't care about Green Lantern being bad, I care that he let them use him and made him look like an butthole
weak, shitty man
starfricker
no shithead he literally put his own name to this bullshit donation-for-likes trade
frick that guy, it's a shitty way to behave, if you have the money and you're gonna donate anyway just do it, who cares if it comes out of his bank account or the promotional budget, just give it if you're gonna give it
if not don't tell me you're gonna do it and then blame me for not liking your dogshit facebook meme, that's on you
I actually can't find any evidence that he actually donated $10,000 in relation to Green Lantern. Are you sure this incident even happened? Might be that you've been angry at him all this time for nothing.
Here's a different article though of him donating $10,000 without trading it for likes. Apparently he owns a football club.

Who are you and why are you still boring
>I know everyone here hates him, but Ryan Reynolds was literally perfect casting for Deadpool.
You sure you didn't mean Green Lantern?
Movie deadpool is good because unlike the comic version his jokes are pretty fast and he's not a tryhard just childish, comic deadpool would talk for several pages about how something is stupid until the villain started to punch him just for him to talk about how his life is a mess for another several pages.
Movie Deadpool is more like the Cable and Deadpool comic days. Current Deadpool is just awful. The perfect Deadpool was the X-Force Deadpool.
My gf broke up with me the same night we went to see the first Deadpool, so I sorta got this weird hang up when it comes to the movie.
Anytime it's on anything I just gotta leave so I don't have a breakdown
Sorry to hear that Anon, she must’ve meant a lot to you. I hope you manage to find someone good for you later on.
