Holy shit. Is it true that there no aliens in the Foundation universe? Like some critters here and there and various plants, but no other intelligent lifeforms?
True to the books. Asimov did not believe there was anyone but us, however, we have become so diverse since it’s 12876AD, that you could consider we became the aliens
in the books demerzel is one of the many identities of r. daneel olivaw, a 20,000 year old robot who is subtly guiding humanity
apparently apple doesn't have the rights to use olivaw
She IS Empire. That’s the whole of this series, she is going to be the end boss and they are going to play it as revenge for the extermination of AIs…of which, iirc, she is the last.
The sad part is, the bad parts are extremely forced. Just looking at the empire scenes you can see the clear potential. But then we get diversity, equity, fat girlbosses.
It's like amputating the perfect pair of breasts for no medical reason at all and then posting pictures of it online.
he's a dude who can read and alter minds and was unpredicted by psychohistory
i don't remember his motivations but he tries to mess with the foundations
he just wants to be the new emperor in the books. he quickly takes over many planets with his psychic abilities and kinda forces the second foundations hand to deal with him when they are supposed to just exist in secret to keep mankind on the rails to establishing a new empire.

Also Asimov retconned him to be an escapee from Gaia, probably. I doubt they will do Gaia in this show, though.
How is the Chernobyl guy coming out of the magic box? This is absolute madness. No rules, anything goes. I love it. They even have nasty little hyperspace goblins that take care of everything during the fold. It's like Dunc but even more absurd.
That robot mistress seems to be important. For how long has she been babysitting emperors?
She's at least 11000 years old as per desert walk episode. Cleon dynasty is like 500-600 years in the making. Just marathoned the series.

Not yet. Lots of jerks though.
Not Gaia?

Is this entity built by humans? Is it some kind of rogue ai? The universe sounds pretty interesting but I have almost no time to read.
Yes, basically, imagine SW but no aliens and attempting to be more mature. 12500 years from now.

three huwhite men rule over a galaxy of shitskins.
I want her so bad bros.
>no mule
What's the fricking point of watching then?
the mule was in the last episode
oh. Cool.
revealed in the last episode
Mule intro was so fricking stupid. He just feels like a LE BAD evil villain because he's LE BAD.
Is he actually an interesting character? I haven't read the books.
In the books, the Mule is Le Epic Twist Villain. His impact is less if other psychic people are already known to be around, though.
it's probably a fake vision of the mule... planted in gaal's mind by the mule
Who the frick is the mule even? Nobody even says who he is. He is just portrayed as generic LE BAD GUY.
I hate that fricking character.
The bad acting of the nigress doesn't help.

the i can read your mind and tell you are looking into the future from the past was moronic when game of thrones did it and still moronic now

Mule is the impetus for the second foundation to reveal itself.
i really like the young negress
this episode sucked
a 150 year timeskip with a bunch of bs you have to infodump and begin world building all over again
Also, frick Trantors rings
The rings are intended to be a cringe vanity project so it looks like they're working
exactly, i was really looking foward to Cleon XIII character
This show wasn't canned?
>This show wasn't canned?
THE DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR THAT FINALLY OPENS
I only watch the Empire scenes
I’m actually enjoying the show.
I enjoy the 2nd season more
1st season was 30% great 70% dogshit
I HELD HIM AS A BABY
