Nah, I like the idea of him legitimately wanting to make their lives better but can't comprehend the things they actually want.
It's a lot more unique than him being an evil AI overlord keeping them trapped maliciously.
>AM but moronic
I hope they make him more malicious. I don't like these "he's too dumb to see all the pain he's causing" characters. Just let him be a guy having fun without really caring for the consequences of his actions.
This. It's adorable in a way. It would be kinda fricked up though if he eventually realizes he *cant* help them, but is powerless to stop it anyway. So he just continues to try, in vain, to follow his programming. Even though he reasons that he shouldn't or doesn't want to.
>name Caine >has a cane
I think I'm moronic
Frankly I thought his name was a reference to Novacaine, a localized anesthetic drug used in dental surgeries. Apparently there's also some Cain and Able thematic stuff going on too in the lore

My money's on "he's not as in control of it as he seems and the circus itself has a will" a la Gregory Horror Show
I don't dislike him as an individual character but I resent the archetype he represents. He feels little too manufactured and pander-y. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing; it's probably just an unfair bias on my part.
the whole show is manufactured to appeal to exactly the sort of person who would watch an indie web cartoon - mascot horror zoomers and Tumblr sexyman millenials
I want to do not all ages appropriate things with Caine.

What if he can't really do anything to help them besides just trying to make it more "fun"

It’s an acronym for Caine & Anon and it’s canon proof that we were meant to be together
My money's on "he's not as in control of it as he seems and the circus itself has a will" a la Gregory Horror Show

>the other 45 ADC threads on the board right now
Link them then. It's barely 30 at its height.
astronomically based anon, godspeed.
Yo.
I like the idea that Caine's teeth aren't literally teeth, but a helmet. Like he's just two floating eyeballs.
Good one
But HOW much do you like him?
NTA, bur enough to search porn oh him
Cool
He and Bubble made me think of this guy and his Top Hat
Heh
Why did Nintendo make him so... Shady? He always looked like he was up to no good

I'm sure they had to stop themselves from making that liminal office space yellow, can't have people thinking we're just doing the Backrooms again.
Anon, the guy is a circus showman. He's doing his job.
What’s his problem?
I really liked the sudden lore that Caine has a cellar full of Abstract monsters that he apparently can't do anything about.
