The animation was great and the action scenes were really well choreographed. The turtles felt like actual zoomer teenagers but still managed to be likable. It was surprisingly heartfelt but without dipping into melodrama which I also liked. Was just a really enjoyable experience.
>Mirage comics >1990 Movie >Secret of the Ooze >2003 series seasons 1-5 >Turtles Forever >2007 movie >IDW for the first 100 issues >2012 series >The Last Ronin
The 1987 series aged poorly and you can't convince me otherwise.

The only reason of why TMNT become a popular icon is the 1987 series.
There is a reason of why Rocksteady and Bebop, colored bandanas and Backster becoming a mutant fly is still a thing.
I feel like the Turtles' origin just falls flat if you remove Hamato Yoshi from the equation. Turtles have no real legacy to look to which hinders their growth if he's not there. Whether he's Splinter or if Splinter was his pet rat.
completely dropped him, splinter instead is just an ordinary rat from New York who feared humans because he couldn’t get along with other scavengers and discovers the turtles already soaking in ooze in the sewer already, he comes into contact with them and mutates more than they do because he is old. Later in the flashback he tries to bring the turtles with him up to the real world in time square and instead scares everyone running into the sewer making splinter completely dislike humans and then a montage happens where the turtles learn their karate abilities from DIY and training videos instead to protect themselves if the humans discover them
Why the frick would they change such an important part of the backstory? I get that there's a concern about it being overdone, but it feels way too important to leave out, hell I think even Next Mutation alluded to it.
It's ok to be moronic.
>15 million weekend
I'd call it grim but Seth Rogen did this and made April an ugly fat nog so frick that israelite.
It's only friday night, idiot.
I went in with low expectations but didn’t notice the stacked voice cast.
It made $15 mil domestic from Tues previews plus Weds & Thurs. It’ll probably finish this weekend with $45 mil
umm, ok
thats ok i guess
So, which turtle was made gay?
Didn't ask this to be an "epic troll", I was genuinely asking, because I heard one of the turtles was gonna be gay.
Ngl I wanna see it
based new things enjoyer
what are some of the things you liked about it?

That’s neat. Probably will just wait until it’s out of theaters.
No you didn’t, you worthless shill.

All the cartoons from that era aged really poorly. Try watching the original Transformers or GI Joe from the same period and tell me I’m wrong

That’s hilarious but nothing after and including the movie are cannon because they’re just not, ok?
GI Joe seasons 1&2 had clever writing and bold characters.
I don't know, just rewatched Transformers and GI joe and I enjoyed it a lot more that shit loved by Cinemaphile like steven universe or the owl house
You're wrong.

Anything besides the original comics, movie trilogy, and cartoon series is trash m.
>its actually out
look how fricking little buzz there is when the forced buzz machine is shut down
you gay homie
I refuse to watch cause of April and Splinter. They're unrecognizable.

>mmmmmmm feed me more goyslop mr rogan.
>rogan
It's rogen
Rogan is many things, but a producer of unwatchable absolute fricking trash he is not.
I was gonna see it but then I could tell in the trailer that one of the voice actors was a coloured "person", so that was that.
ok, shill.
No you didn't.
>I skateboard (since 2009)
>I eat pizza
>i enjoy chilling out with my bros
imagine hating on this lifestyle
I actually liked the Michael bay produce movies. My only gripe was that the turtles look ugly.
