Loved it, probably my second favorite from Noe behind Lux Aeterna
Also, Cinemaphile janitors are the biggest incel micro-dicked homosexuals on the internet and are unironically subhuman trash who should all an hero
Hated it
If the same movie was framed normally nobody would care

You might have missed it, I saw it in theaters last year (not long after seeing Lux Aeterna at a midnight showing)
Did it look better in theaters? I watched a remux and the video quality was so bad that I had to check to make sure it was actually how it appeared on the bluray.
I have a pc more than capable of watching movies. Films with much larger bitrates have appeared normally and I can game just fine. The actual bluray website I looked at commented on the noisy video quality.
Movie was great. I did 3 hits of acid with my buddy before watching it. The movie means a lot to me because it was the last film we watched with each other before he killed himself. He got arrested for possession and was looking to do major time. He just decided to end it instead.
Both are accurate phrases which philosophers and artists have debated over for generations. Anti-mimesis has been a position since at least the 1800's.
I don't know which backwater shithole you're from but here they have no problems giving the short bus crowd who get paid to think thoughts and agree with people who think thoughts a run for their money

I'm not sure if I was more confounded and disgusted by this post or by the dick in the catalog, but I'm leaning towards this post
Did you watch an abridged version that cut out the nakadashi because "life is meaningless because a bunch of it is created every day" is too try hard pseud nihilist of a message for even Mr. Noe, or did I forget a scene that came after that where he gets aborted?
She aborts the baby she was going to have with the guy from the strip club and he becomes the fetus that is created when his sister has sex with his friend.
Frogposters really need to reconsider their use of the R word and how it reflects on them
I haven't had sex in a month and I am seething about the sister having sex rn. I think I watched this movie when I was in college, abck in like 2010, not really having sex, and I seethed about the sister having sex back then also. I need a b***h
Baby's first art house movie. You will think this movie is profound when you are young, then you will grow up and realize it's saying nothing. It's just nihilistic drivel.
i did mushrooms on Sunday to get over my ex and quit nicotine. I am officially over my ex, and I've barely used nicotine at all. I bought a black and mild yesterday and smoked about half of it over yesterday and today, threw the other half away. Hopefully I can make it to the weekend without buying any more nicotine. This is after using a can of chew a day for years. Mushrooms are amazing and if you're struggling with issues I recommend you try it. I did not have a good trip either, but when things started to get fricked up I told myself it's not supposed to be easy curing your brain from heartbreak and addiction. That helped me through the hard parts of the trip. Just eat a bunch of shrooms and fix your brain homie
Worshipping thoonkers to the point of promoting losers with no real world experience into positions of power is how you end up with a Bolshevik revolution
>pretentious pseuds don't appreciate the most autistic audiovisual project ever made because it's french but doesn't have le deep philosophy meaning like their favorite french pseud films
Pathetic, gay, and shameful.
Just don't post, dude. Nobody gives a shit about fat American tards like you who did 2 years of french at College to bang the white aunt Professor, twice divorced and miserable because the cheese at Walmart tastes like plastic.
It was a fricking experience but i'm not sure if i liked or hated it. I honestly think some scenes like the POV impregnation were there just to mock the viewer
The crane shots are some of the most beautiful and visualy stunning psychedelic cinematography ever put on film. Even if you don't like the movie, technically its masterful and deserves a watch for that alone. Like him or hate him, Noe is very commited to putting what exactly he has in his mind on film. He even said that his biggest inspiration for making films was Kubrick.

what part was your favorite in void? i have to say the drug deal gone bad
Hard to pick any one part but I'll go with the neon hotel at the end with everyone fricking inside. Drug deal was good too though
Anybody liked Lux? Easily his worst imo
it was good apart from trying to give an epileptic attack to the audience
It was pretty fricking stupid. Great movie though for people that will either be dead by 30 or have half their friends die of an overdose by then.

Every time
The arthouse crowd rejected this pseud dreck tho
Watch Antichrist
>calls Enter the Void pseud dreck
>recommends Antichrist
Antichrist is a good movie but Enter the Void is on such a higher level in every way that it's not even funny. I rate your opinion midwit/10
Hated it

good film but i enjoyed climax more tbqh
There is nothing more hilarious than watching a Gaspar Noe film in the theatre. Yes it's good. But its kind of a mid compared to his other films.
Irreversible > I Stand Alone > Carne > Enter the Void > Love

Woops, Climax between Carne and Void

Just noticed that, yeah. It was showing in some festivals last year.
Oh well. Guess I'll torrent it.
Was there ever a torrent release of the original Void 161 minute cut?
Don't know, just checked my library and the version I've got is 143 minutes. What was cut?
Yeah, it's on cinemaz. Here's the fullname if you need to find it on another site
Enter.The.Void.2009.REMUX.1080p.BluRay.AVC.DTS-HD.MA.5.1-LEGi0N.mkv
Did it look better in theaters? I watched a remux and the video quality was so bad that I had to check to make sure it was actually how it appeared on the bluray.
Are you sure you're not trying to play it on an absolute toaster that can't handle the bitrate?
I have a pc more than capable of watching movies. Films with much larger bitrates have appeared normally and I can game just fine. The actual bluray website I looked at commented on the noisy video quality.

Jesus. Life imitates art.
You mean imitates life
The most stupid thing you have ever seen happen on a TV show, something worse happens in real life every day

good movie, ill be entering soon probably
Loved it, one of my favorite. The ending is fascinating.
The ending where he becomes a nakadashi at the local love hotel and gets reincarnated with no greater message stated?
No, the ending about death being final. I thought the fading away effect was very visual. Very into the sudden end too.
Did you watch an abridged version that cut out the nakadashi because "life is meaningless because a bunch of it is created every day" is too try hard pseud nihilist of a message for even Mr. Noe, or did I forget a scene that came after that where he gets aborted?

The goalpoasts keep moving further and further.
This is about the level of coherence to be expected from a frogposter

Shit, my bad. I misread your message and didn't click to see the replied to post. It's the other guy who didn't see the ending.
>style over substance: the film
I remember going outside for a walk, returning to my hotel, watching a rip of this movie, and seeing the exact same streets I walked on earlier

watched this on mute while tripping on acid and listening to hotline miami ost
very kino experience

did this movie make anyone want to read the tibetan book of the dead? i bet a pdf is ez to find
Some dumb israelite suggested this movie to me. It was so fricking boring that it put me to sleep.

i think those crane shots were done on a minature town set
Theres a model city in the dudes room. How'd u guess??
fountain of life > enter the void
I fricking hated it. Pretentious shit.
One of the few movies that made me angry irl
It gave me a sense of existential dread, so to the extent it made me feel anything I commend it.
what do you think of this
i liked it but as epileptic i hate it
I've never seen anything by Gaspar Noe except the opening dance scene from Climax, what have I missed?
you missed this kino music video
Great if you're 18 or an English professor trying to be cool
the most boring movie i've ever seen
masterpiece
The visuals were nice, the sister isn’t hot.
