Happened to me with my old youtube adblocker recently. I didn't get that message, I got a message saying the extension contained virus or something, which is bullshit. I just got a new one. I will not watch the ads.
literally 90% of humanity can't wrap their heads around using adblock. Of that, some who do get it still prefer to leave ads on for dumb reasons.

if your extension/browser haven't updated for a while (example, your computer is always put in hibernate and you've never restarted the browser), you can get this with older versions of ublock
It was affecting the latest release version and even the dev builds a few weeks ago. It's been fixed since then, however, so people getting it now should just need to update.
Some people were getting it with UBO a month or two back. There was a point where you needed to clear your filter cache pretty much daily to avoid it if you'd been flagged (reportedly, you coul also get un-flagged by using a VPN). Since then, UBO has been updated with a fix.

Off the top of my head, you used to actually be able to search for something and get pages of results you might want, rather than 3 tangentially related videos, a few videos of some homosexual reacting to it, and the rest being algorithm picked bullshit.
It is almost impossible to put in a vague description of a video you half remember and get any semblance of accurate result, which used to be possible.
Now you have to isolate key words, filter at least 10 phrases and set the specific year in order to get anything close to a result you might want. It’s fricking ludicrous how useless the search function is now.

I use Newpipe on mobile. You do lose a lot of the conveniences of being tracked and profiled by Google though.

Sorry, correction. Newpipe provides suggestions when viewing a video, but they are the "default" suggestions you would get without an account or cookies.

It's about as useful as immolating yourself to keep warmer in winter though very entertaining.
AFAIK, they won't ban you as such, but you can reach a point where instead of your video, you'll just get a black screen with a message which can't be refreshed past. The only way to watch videos then is to disable the adblocker (which doesn't remove the flag on your account, so if you re-enable your're right back to the black screen). That's what I experienced, anyway. This shouldn't happen with the latest version of UBO. Updating fixed it for me. Reportedly, logging in with an IP address from a different country (such as via a VPN) can actually clear the flag, but I haven't tested that myself since by the time I heard about it a fix for UBO was already out.

I got it too. It even blocked any video from being watched if I had addblock on. Was like that for a couple of days then it went back to normal.
I think it triggers on accounts that reach a threshold of potential add money, so if you watch mainstream slop its probably showing up. I was watching some gaming stream for a couple of days prior, and they were sponsored by ~~*INTEL*~~ so I will let you figure it out.
Never seen this at home or at work with Firefox + uBlock.
If it does come for me I'll stick to Newpipe front end.
If that goes away I will not miss YouTube.
