It sounds excessive but in practice it was kino and even his hater critics admitted as much. Of course the positive recepiton to Snydercut is now memoryholed becaue its considered to be an incel movie.
Way to make something that should be skillful and impressive look like a boring cakewalk
Not to mention the basic b***h shit like lens flares and the sun blotting
Sneeder is moronic
>these are the imperial troops from planet Imperius, the seat of the imperial empire >they are all dressed in imperial clothes and also have roman names
>these are a rebel faction called the rebels, they come from a planet rebelia, that is currently rebelling against the empire
>these are farmers from the farmlands of Farmia, they all look like farmers and they farm grain
>this is a robot made for warfare, he is a roboticus mechanicus from the factories of factoria mechanica robotica, he is made for war but he doesn't want to fight, he also fights amazingly well and kills people in a cool way
>this is a shirtless tarzano from the planet tarzania, he has long hair and is good with animals, here he tames a gryphon also from the planet tarzania which is also known in the old tongue as gryphonia, because it has gryphons, he's good at taming them
>this is Nemesis from planet Childonia, she lost her child so she's killing other evil mothers like the spidermother, she has two artificial arms and can't hold babies anymore only cleavesabers
>this is Kai from planet Eire, he has an irish accent and can't be trusted, he also has a twin brother called Wanai who has one eye, he shows up in the sequel
>this is the other gladiator from the movie gladiator, here he plays a gladiator in the castor arena on the moon of pollux
>these are the loose latex bimbos of bawdicus V, they play a large role in the extended cut as dangerous bawds
I haven't seen a Snyder movie since 300. But there is absolutely nothing worse than Marvel movies. Not only are they incredibly shitty movies, but they actually managed to kill a 120 year old industry.
Because it's abundantly obvious you MSheU babies are the only ones still seething over this stupid console war bullshit. Sneeder's DC movies are actual movies, Marvel movies are not. Get over it.
And yet the only peole who actually participate in this conole war is Snyderjeets who will sperg out about imaginary fellow capeshit fans everyone calls out their idol for what he is: a illiterate hack.
One almosts gets the impression that it's something you lot have made up.
>If it isn't a 10 min fart joke or star owen wilson that means it is HIGH ART >there is absolutely nothing worse than Marvel movies
Watch Army of the Dead, Rebel Moon or Sucker Punch. The latter is the worst of Snyder by far.
What WB could have done: >Let Snyder finish, split it in half, get 2 films' worth of content out of a single production, not piss off your entire fanbase, maybe actually make money
What WB did instead: >Make an excuse to drop Snyder because they were so sure he was the problem, hire fricking Whedon to reshoot 50-70% of the film at enormous expense instead. So instead of 2 movies out of 1 production they produced 1 film twice, pissed off pretty much every fan who still gave a shit and the entire cast, produced a frankenfilm that was universally reviled and then shat out carefully curated turd after turd that all made significantly less than the supposedly "disappointing" Snyder films. Had to nuke it all from orbit ad start over
Gee, I wonder what the better option would have been. Snyder did literally noting wrong, he had to oversee the entire DCEU while keeping that moron Hamada on a leash the entire time. Look at what happened as soon as he was gone
>make 2 films so critically panned that it affects every other film in its universe >say its actually the studios fault that the movies suck and that you have a way better version that's already filmed and edited >get an army of pajeet bots to spam #releasetheSnydercut >$60 mil later of reshooting and new fan serivce it comes out >still dogshit, just 4 hours long now
A) most ((critics)) have a problem with any overtly chrisitan work and they're all disney shills. The same people who told you BVS sucked thought The Little Mermaid remake was great
B) it unironically was the studio's fault. Look at the changes they made, look at the shit they shoehorned in, look how they botched literally every post-Snyder production and tell me they knew what they were doing
C) the bot army is WB cope because the Snyder Cut was a huge embarrassment to them since it proves they spent a fortune in reshoots to make the movie worse
d) the universal consensus is that the Snyder cut was vastly superior and it was one of the most streamed films of the year, which is strangely popular for a recut of a film no one liked the first time
>The same people who told you BVS sucked thought The Little Mermaid remake was great
Bullshit. >it unironically was the studio's fault
It wasn't. They didn't have any good material to work with in the cutting room. >they spent a fortune in reshoots to make the movie worse
How is it the studio's fault that a director who couldn't pull it off the first time didn't do any better the second time around? >universal consensus is that the Snyder cut was vastly superior
Kek. No, it isn't. It's the Snyder fanboy consensus.
>It wasn't. They didn't have any good material to work with in the cutting room.
ZSJL is 98% stuff the studio put on the cutting room floor in the first place before they spent a fortune on terrible reshoots with Whedon. The failure of the theatrical release is 100% a result of studio incompetence combined with a bizarre grudge some of the execs had against Snyder.
>before they spent a fortune on terrible reshoots with Whedon
Why is 50% of the Snyder version identical to the Whedon one then? With most of the other 50% being from Snyder's own new reshoots?

>With most of the other 50% being from Snyder's own new reshoots?
That 50% was what the studio tried to throw out and paid a fortune for Whedon to reshoot. It's plain to see when you compare the baked in lighting of the Snyder scenes that made it into the theatrical version to the ones that were reshot overlit and extremely flat, then compare all those to the ones from ZSJL that you think are reshot. The only ones that are actually "reshot" are the epilogue with Leto and Martian Manhunter sequences at the end, and you can easily tell because they're shot using low element photo prime lenses because Snyder was obsessing over shooting shit with that stuff cranked wide open just like in Army of the Dead.

>It's plain to see
It isn't though. Both the Whedon and the Snyder version are terrible, from a visual perspective. The Snyder version moreso because all the slow motion shots make the exaggerated artifice stand out way more.

You seem to be getting confused. I'm not talking about visual quality in terms of how good or bad something is. I'm talking about visual qualities as in the visual design and fingerprint of the shot. You'd have to be blind to not be able to distinguish between principal photography and Whedon's reshoots. Even if you were given the raw unedited untouched footage, from lighting alone it's obvious which is which.

You just have to look at Affleck. If he's bloated and disinterested, it's a Whedon scene. Dude did those reshoots under duress

Exactly. Extensive drop shadows don't make something good.
i still don't like him but the complete implosion of hollywood blockbusters has made me stop complaining about him. at least he has a vision and executes it. it's a shame about the decline in his cinematography.
Zack Snyder became crazy about digital cameras and specifically the RED digital cameras only because of David Fincher's influence.
He seems to be extremely autistic and highly influenceable. For example the look for MoS was entirely because of Christopher Nolan trying to push him into a more naturalistic approach like doc films.
He needs better friends, is what i am saying. Fincher is being a disaster in his life.
you got 5 minutes
Either works

It was a meme you moron much like the mcu ratings
Kino
They are only Saturday morning cartoons on the surface. Dig deep and analize and you will find they are thematically deeper than you think.
>actually, this huge jar of piss represents why we need less government control
Snyderkino.
10 seconds...... ..... ..10 seconds for pure slop
slower
slower!!!
>slow mo's your slow mo
Gigaslop
This looks pretty cool. Don't know what's the issue.
Needs RDJ stopping mid-air to make a quip and wink at the camera
Needs a cool rock song where at the last slowmow you've the singer screaming at the top of his lungs to truly be chef's kiss.
Nobody does cinematrography better than Snyder
Way to make something that should be skillful and impressive look like a boring cakewalk

Its transcendental kino imo. I gasped just watching the webm.
Hum ba la.
Guru Snyder sar is amazing.

And this? This is Katana.
General Katana of planet Zeitgeist. In order to win the prize you have to defeat him in a swordfight.
>I need 30+ movies to tell my Saturday morning cartoon story
>y-you hate Snyder??? You must be an MCU fan
Why are Snydergays so sensitive?

Watch Army of the Dead, Rebel Moon or Sucker Punch. The latter is the worst of Snyder by far.
The latter is his best movie. LMAO. Imagine thinking Army of the Dead is worse than Sucker Punch.
That's unironically a bonus, not a problem

Cope, seethe, dilate
It was the most streamed movie when released and even managed to up their shares.
"yeah but it was all bots though, no one actually wanted it"
