I never got why people obsess over this anime so much. I think it's overrated as hell and the story is incredibly annoying, pseudo-philosophical and preachy. The 2003 version was better.
(also I can't talk about how I hate it on Cinemaphile because people will think I'm some moronic spammer)
>people like thing and this makes me mad
>no i have no idea why they like thing why do you ask
Have you tried not being a terminally online NPD, homosexual?
>people like thing and this makes me mad
Are you moronic? The op clearly gave reasonable arguments for why the show is bad that have nothing to do with its popularity.
You're a pathetic moron.
No, the OP made claims for why the show is overrated / not good but he never provided any specific examples or reasoning that verifies those claims. Me saying you’re a wienersucking homosexual that nobody loves is not an argument.
>Me saying you’re a wienersucking homosexual that nobody loves is not an argument.
Yeah, it's projection.
Still waiting on those actual arguments.
So you agree with
>reasonable arguments
there isn't a single argument in the OP. it's just whining. your post here is also just whining.
>waaaaaahhhhhh
that's all it is. childish whining. it's beyond ironic that you would call anyone else moronic or a pathetic moron you dumb homosexual. you don't even know what words mean.
>The 2003 version was better.
You're right. Same with HxH.
The 1999 version of HxH might actually be the most overhyped thing in anime. The 2011 version is superior in practically every way but for some reason it's cool online to pretend the old version with the much shittier animation and less complete story is superior.
>much shittier animation
most people can't actually judge animation quality and just go by how the art looks, and the animation style of the 90's show is appealing.
I used to never even notice animation quality and thought people who brought it up were annoying nitpickers. Obviously I'd see a very well animated fight scene and think "woah that was awesome" but I wouldn't really recognize that I felt that way in large part because of the jump in animation quality. Then out of nowhere one day it's like a flip switched in my brain and I suddenly became aware of the animation quality of the things I was watching. With that said, the hand drawn art that was standard before the mid 2000s does look much richer and deeper than digitally animated shows that look flat in comparison because of how perfectly uniformly colored every pixel is in digital art. 1999 looks better in screenshots but 2011 looks better on video.
we like this show because it makes morons like you foaming at the mouth angry
I like OP because he makes pathetic morons who can't even write proper English like you foam angrily at the mouth 🙂
I'm actually very happy and don't care if you don't like stuff i like 🙂
>Japanese "humor"
i hate this shit so much. i wonder if you could make a version that cut it all out without missing anything plot relevant
Agreed. Its my least favorite aspect in anime and its how most non-anime watchers view ll anime.
Its partly why Death Note is so good with normies because it doesn't have any of that gay animation style. What is it even called?
You guys do understand that this is children's media, right? Full Metal Alchemist is a cartoon made for japanese teenage boys, not adults, of course there's gonna be silly cartoonish faces.
Scar did nothing wrong.
I never got why fricking morons post on the Hollywood movie board about fricking Japanese cartoons so much. I think it's moronic as hell and the posters are incredibly annoying.
Because it's a TV series why do you care
>TV series
it's anime. Stop being a fricking moron.
Cinemaphile is for Jap media, Cinemaphile is for Western or american mostly live-action media so while I still think those fit cause they're not really traditional cartoons.
>Cinemaphile is for Western or american mostly live-action media
So foreign films are not allowed?
Anything that's live action media but mostly from the West. Not that hard to grasp.
thet are banned from Cinemaphile
Do you have the same problem with Simpsons, Family Guy and other cartoon threads?
Anime airs on TV so it's Cinemaphile by definition. Only newbie tourists seethe at this fact. Seethe & cope Black personhomosexual.
What demented and pedantic logic. What's the fricking point of having different media boards, then?
>something that airs on TV can be discussed on a board literally named Cinemaphile?
>What demented and pedantic logic.
Cry more gay
But Cinemaphile is right there. Why shit up this board? You're being purposefully moronic. Cinemaphile exists so people could discuss media OTHER than anime.
There are lots of off topic threads on this board but you only b***h about anime
not from where i'm looking at the catalog. plus anime sticks out like a sore thumb. anyhow, at least it isn't hazbin hotel shit and I like FMA. I don't know why I even went into this. Godspeed.
>Why shit up this board?
Have you seen the board, Black person? It's already shitted up beyond any reason. What, you're mad that some capeshit thread #19474829 die for this? Boo hoo, homosexual.
>Cinemaphile exists so people could discuss media OTHER than anime.
You're always welcome to go back to red dit and discuss whatever the frick your want there, Black person. Would be preferable too.
Why is it only Japanese women who can make interesting series on their own, that appeal to both men and women, instead of hijacking existing IPs to use as a soapbox for their own personal beliefs, while sex-swapping a bunch of characters? Between FMA and Dorohedoro, Western women “creators” are mogged into oblivion.
Cinemaphile is for Baneposting and Sneed
>The 2003 version was better.
Stopped reading there. Kys contrarian homosexual.
It's the only anime that I've watched a full season of. I thought it was pretty decent. The only thing that annoyed me, and made me stop in the middle of the second season, was the overreactions. The mother fricker is always crying so fricking loud it physically hurts my ears.
>I want to talk about this anime, let me post it somewhere that’s not the 10 other boards to discuss anime
Kino.
>obsess
It's good and people like it. That's all. It's not difficult
>The 2003 version was better.
Based. At least it was better until they ran out of manga content to adapt and came up with the dumbest ending ever.
FMA is a great anime to watch if you've never watched anime before but are interested in checking out what it's about. It's pretty much always the default response when someone who doesn't watch anime asks what anime they should watch. It's good, but I don't think it's the best. It definitely IS overrated but I think that's mainly out of the convenience of being able to tell someone "just watch FMA: Brotherhood" and not because anyone who has actually watched a lot of anime believes it's the best anime ever though. It's like hosting a party and deciding to cook a bunch of chicken wings for everyone to eat, just about everyone likes, or will at least accept chicken wings, it's pretty hard to point to anything so offensive about them that anyone just flat out hates them.
>t. fat weeb millennial
I can smell this post
It got popular because it was one of the few that made it onto adult swim for an extended period. Its not bad and is a pretty good introduction to anime. It is childish but its made for 12 year olds
>The 2003 version was better.
