I just watched this and I spent the entire movie repeating the words "this is reddit, this is memes, this is reddit, this is memes..." under my breath.
I fricking hated it. I was writhing around on the floor in front of the chair for the last 30 minutes it was so painful. >Ayy quirky A24 movie lmao
If you liked it you're in the wrong place

It’s exhausting. Modern action movies feel ai generated, like they’re afraid of any downtime whatsoever. Every dialogue scene needs endless shit happening in the background, every action scene needs some huge set piece gimmick.
The Lego movie is where I started noticing this shit, just tiring
The Flash movie is exhausting to watch.
They need to study 80s action (especially Hong Kong stuff)
1)big / captivating action sequence right at the start
2) some character stuff / comedy
3) smaller action bits
4) more character stuff / drama
5) big huge over the top action sequence
6) the end / (maybe an emotional bit or a nice joke)
Was going to watch it then I read on here it's about how oppressed east asian immigrants are in the US or the West in general. Asians think theyre oppressed when they have to buy a used Lexus
A fan edit of this movie would be great
Cut it down to 90 mins
Focus on husband /wife stuff and not the daughter
Short round being rich and telling movie Star Yeoh that he would have preferred being a poor laundromat owner was the best but of the film

this isn't even an A24 movie, chud
Have sex. You're pathetic.
Take a shower. I can smell you and your moldy pasta from here.
Read a book. You're dumb.
Stay based.
still 100% true

Kek, FPBP
Is this the birth of a new copypasta?
Go away newbie
Too bad for you. You miss out on racacoonie, aka something actually funny in the movie
what did you think was funny about it? Its a fricking reference to another movie, literally a "i know this" joke.
That part felt like filler on an already bloated movie
Don't, not sure how it got all that praise. Pretty generic scifi multiverse slop
who dis homie?
Uncle Ruckus
I’m guessing your chud ass didn’t watch crazy rich Asians either
You're not missing much. Grossly overrated.
it somehow managed to be a success without you
You never will be watched this? That's weird but ok.
>ive never went to school and never will be
Hah. Beatcha to it by 4 seconds.
Mine is better.
This movie is proof that you can in fact judge a book by its cover
If someone asks you what goyslop means just show them this movie.
I agree, if some moron asks you a dumb meme question just give them something nice to do for a couple of hours while you focus on important matters.

Wise decision bc it's awful and tedious
I have the same position. Other movies I feel this way for:
The Godfather
Mad Max Fury Road
No Country For Old Men
That’s not my problem

after watching it I was overcome with nostalgia
I miss the time when Hong Kong was a cultural powerhouse making cool shit all the time
