I remember everyone used to hate the Loony Tunes Show back when it came out but nowadays it is very fondly remembered and loved.
What happened? Did zoomers just grow up?

that show was garbage
Fpbp
I guess today's opposite day.
>This Friday night we are going to dress up, get picked up in a limo, and have a fabulous romantic dinner.
>Daffy, what you just described is a date. I'm not going on a date with you.
>Well, when you put it that way, hey Porky, wanna go on a date with me?
>No, you idiot, ask a woman.
Once the outrage and dissonance of how different it was subsided people started to see it's strength. It still didn't make a first impression and the first half of season 1 is very weak.
We've also had worse things since.
>Did zoomers just grow up?
yes
They realized they made Bugs a homosexual in this and there was sexual tension with Daffy
That was always the case though
Broke: BugsxDaffy
Woke:LolaxDaffy
That was my favorite episode in the whole series.
Those two are dangerously stupid together
It had its good and bad points. Witch Lezah and Gossamer sucked. I wasn't a fan of the Merry Melodies portions for the most part though I did enjoy the animation. The show's love of guns was awesome.
Yeah the songs fricking sucked most of the time and the road runner bits felt like they're just eating up time.
I liked it when it aired but most of the modern love is just from out of context clips on Youtube. If you clean your cookies the base Youtube algorithm seems to love to suggest clips of this show alongside whatever Tiktok shit is trending.
The Road Runner bits were basically there own thing that ended up wrapped up into the show.
I was surprised that the hsow more or less showed guns as being a normal thing. I liked that about the show
Wabbit came out and people said "Frick it, I was just being an butthole. It WAS good. This Wabbit crap is shit."
Was Wabbit really that bad? Even people i know who like everything from CN hated this show.
It's somewhat watchable but the artstyle is terrible and the pacing is bad.
>the artstyle is terrible
Oh come-on it can't be that ba-
Oh my fricking God.what the frick is THIS? (Spoilered in the thin hope of allowing some of ya to retain some amount of sanity)
I never watched it I just didn't like that it replaced Looney Tunes Show
yes it was THAT bad
and then when
we'll start seeing Wabbit in a more positive light
King Tweety won't make a difference because literally nobody cared about that movie. Who thought it was a good idea to release that on DVD?
Pics that go hard.
>that episode where Lola has no panties on
>That episode where Bugs gets arrested for war crimes in Albania.
>I remember everyone used to hate the Loony Tunes Show back when it came out
shut the frick up already people liked it and were spamming Lola threads
Coomers will always coom regardless of shoe's quality. See: Santa Inc.
I don't see any Santa Inc. threads?
I think the lower quality something is, the more it actually encourages coomers because they don't feel like they're defacing anything.
No, it's because now that it's done and with the magic of Youtube we can go back and cherry pick the best parts and separate them from the shit.
It's the same way that if you're watching a series on streaming you can skip shitty episodes, but on a micro level.
This makes me wonder if people really actually like this show. Whenever I see someone sharing clips of this show it's always either the Stonehenge scene, the 'know your role' scene or that scene where Lola almost runs over Bugs. Only these 3 clips.
Some people really only watch clips. I have a friend who likes Daria but has only ever seen clips. She never watched a full episode. There is something so unsettling about someone who only watches clips but at the same time, I get it.
>I remember everyone used to hate the Loony Tunes Show
You do not speak for me and liking it was never a contrarian belief
I appreciate the architecture of Lola's mother and the architect that built her.
You don't know, maybe they fed each other
Walter has clearly been the one feeding Patricia more, he wants her BIG.
Tinabros... will we ever see her again?
I don't know if her gag of being the only "normal" character in the whole show works in any other show, though, unless we get another Looney Tunes animated sitcom, I guess.
>Did zoomers just grow up?
Yes, I am one of them.
Nah bro this is peak shitty looney tunes artstyle
When this was released, the director replied to literally every tweet talking about this movie and claiming it was 'pretty good'.
>people start talking negatively about thing
>creator of thing notices
>creator of thing gets really upset and starts shitting themselves over it.
i can't see this making them look good. unless someone notoriously hates starts talking about this shit (i bet the only reason John Sanford's response to the Nostalgia Critic wasn't seen as the seethefest it was is because it was posted on the height of the Wall review controversy)
Oh...holy shit, what the frick is this crap supposed to be???? It looks like shit, if shit did a self-portrait with the art skills of a 2 year old with it's OFF hand.
>Nah bro this is peak shitty looney tunes artstyle
what did this have to do with my post
You look like a shitty Looney TOONS (frick you Mandela) character
>You look like a shitty Looney TOONS (frick you Mandela) character
loved this show as a kid, it kicked my looney tunes love
>was a huge looney tunes autist
>made a homemade daffy duck hat by gluing colored paper on a hat with scotch tape
>it looked as ugly as it sounds
>and yes, I wore it to gym class
>spent my school breaks drawing daffy, lola, and bugs in all kinds of shenanigans
>I even had my AU where they were friends with Mordecai and Rigby
>loved to play the flash and genesis games
>spend my last year of elementary school being this autistic
>no one said a thing
>years later
>find an old classmate and start talking
>I find that no one picked on me because they all thought I was special needs
>mfw
>as a kid
Anon, the show came out in 2011, he could've been 11 like me when it came out.
>"you weren't 6500 years old on 2011 underage BAN BAN BAN"
People didn't like it because it was to domestic for the brand but if you accept it for what it is its pretty cool. Also nothing better than it has come out of the brand since.
Zoomers were literal children then, it got big from Twitter, the rest followed naturally
>literal children
That's an over simplification of Zoomers. By the time the show came out, the oldest Zoomers were 13 and 14, we were definitely in the right age range for this show. I remember people talking about Regular Show in Middle School and that got me interested.
Those were the days.
no the early criticism was just bad faith nostalgia gays who hate change
basically happens to any reboot that isn't basing itself in pandering to nostalgia
that's why they changed the art style in season 2 to make it closer to the original.... and also turn it into a fricking eyesore.
Some people had a kneejerk reaction to NEW THING being different from OLD THING and didn't initially give it a chance
Which was a valid mindset, since it could've been a lot, lot worse
youtube randomly recommended me a clip of this show a few minutes ago and HOLY SHIT bugs and daffy's voices are awful. i don't remember them that way
>Did zoomers just grow up?
Everyone grows up, yesterday's bullshit is just tomorrow's nostalgia.
You lying Black person, I've been posting already for 14 years straight and when this was still an airing show there were always threads for it on Cinemaphile. Only during the first season people made some 'hate' threads but everyone generally liked the show. It wasn't universally reviled. It's just like morons would get mad about Chowder on here and then within a year everyone loved it and would quote it all the time.
This site fricks with your brain somehow, and only ever makes you remember the negative stuff
Yea I remember both this show and chowder were liked once people got over their rough starts. I remember people hating wabbit and bunnicula whenever those came out a few years ago. I miss when stuff would leak here or when that cosplayer Alex Hirsch used to frick used to come tell us stuff Cinemaphile is lame now
It took a while for people to get over the "Seinfeld but with Looney Tunes characters" impression and it became a hit. It's the same thing that happened with Be Cool Scooby Doo... minus it becoming a hit.
It will always weird me out how Petunia is featured prominently in the credits and promo art and yet she only showed up for like two minutes at the very end of season 2 and with a completely different design.
She was supposed to be in season 3
[citation needed]
>meanwhile on autsimart
>"i hate this show because it insults the horse show."
humans are weird and moronic creatures..
>autsimart
what
>autismart
>deviantart
Every CN show that came afterwards was shit, so people learned to appreciate it
Clarence was good and liked here
...it was?
It had more positive threads than other Cartoon Network shows from that era.
