"I say that we abandon this ship! We get the shuttle and just get the hell out of here! We take our chances and... just hope that somebody will pick us up!"
Why was the shuttle only built for one person?

it's not really an escape shuttle
Bad faith post, although Lambert had the right general idea, it's made perfectly clear that the shuttle "won't take four". In that moment, they (more-or-less) regard themselves as four equal human beings who have equal right to survival, and since there's one too many of them, they have to keep working the problem for a few more minutes. This is them at their weakest: the captain has just died, and they're all all snapping at each other (Ash will "snap" too in a bit, for different reasons) It's only once Ash is eliminated that we learn that the shuttle's capacity is three. Lambert is in pure survival mode and just wants to get out any way she can. Being a very nervous CIS WOMAN, she can't stand having to rationally work the problem, and justs wants the group to "draw straws". Parker correctly replies that there will be no drawing of straws, to which Lambert replies with a groan of despair.
Cartwright looks really beatifully messed up in this sequence. IIRC there's a few DC2003-only shots where her eyes are especially big and distraught, and she's all bloodshot. Cartwright never really disowned her performance (as some slasher actresses might), although she's always been aware that she's the weakling in the picture. In recent years she seems to have come around to the cultural signigicance of the film, having done forewords for a book or two. I bet she's the final survivor of the cast.
What does CIS mean?

Lambert is canonically a beautiful trans goddess chud
Cameron literally retconned that shat!
Every time I'm ready to leave this place for good, something like your post draws me back in. Thanks, anon.
Veronica Cartwright is insanely beautiful and should have been in more good films.
Weyland Yutani doesn't give a frick about the value of life, and the pod was probably just for Ash to use. I'm surprised it even has oxygen in it.
Oh, somebody picked her up alright.
How did a facehugger melt its way through a thick spacesuit helmet fast enough that the astronaut and his teammates couldn't get it off in time? And also not damage that person's head with that serious acid?
It doesn't matter when it's Lambertian, baby!
Very cute.
Not sure what that scene at the bottom right where they're all running after the burster is supposed to be. Everything else is pretty accurate, the artist even got some of the deleted scenes in, but that one I'm not sure about.
Cute
the same reason the interior of a futuristic space vessel is conveniently dark
oh dear anon caught stoklasabrain
The shuttle was built for 3 people. Which still doesn't make sense because there was a crew of 7.
moronic script writing
Why doesn't they ever talk about the giant of LV-426? Talk about a plot hole
Because he was cut out of the first film and only had a second of screentime in Aliens. Most fans don't even know about him.
The wait it's tail creeped up her leg and her weird screams I thought the alien fricked her to death or something
>wait
>it's
Dunno about Lambert, but the English language is definitely getting fricked to death by you
Obvious phone poster
Also I thought it fricked her too and jacked it to her screaming which lasted waaaaaaay too long
If they were just going to abandon it, they could have all gotten into space suits and tried to kill the thing and not cared about the acid breeching the hull
this is all fine and well, but i think we ought to discuss the bonus situation
I say they should just reboot the whole thing with MEW as lead and retcon everything past Aliens, including Prometheus and Covenant.
That's the only way to be sure.
>random no name
...uhhhh...
no.
Sigourney can act.
That meme prostitute, cannot.
Siggy is way too old to star in a reboot, though.
Reminder that Ash was only following orders and is blameless.
