A train is mildly interesting, but Deep has been one note for ages. Same with Frenchie and Kimiko, even Starlight. They're just not interesting. I'd say Soldier Boy, Homelander, and Noir are the only interesting characters. There's just too much filler and samey shit with the others every episode.

I think it's about how aggressively blatant they are with it. I can understand some subtle programming being shoved in, but the in-your-face "media is good, trust them" messaging being shoved down your throat every episode is incredibly abrasive. If you're going to try to mock, lie to, or brainwash people, at least put a little effort into it.
