Luigi did absolutely nothing in the film. It was Super Mario Brothers movie and Luigi did nothing. Oh wait, he did beat up koopas after getting super powers and invincibility.
Luigi is the best brother and severely underrated.
Nintendo give him his own spin off games and they make him a cowardly idiot with a vacuum cleaner? Get the frick outta here.
Luigi in Galaxy is Luigi done right. Like Mario but harder to control. That's what a Luigi spin off game should be.
Just take Luigi from Galaxy and give him 200 levels inspired by the secret levels in Sunshine. No fancy gimmicks (or not many at least). No weird fairies or anthropomorphic creatures yapping at you. Just pure platforming magic for the Mario fans who want a 3d game that doesn't hold your hand.

Have you played the romhack sunshine arcade?
Chris Pratt is a great voice actor >talks like a normal person, adds inflection when necessary >doesn't do the moronic anime voices that "official" voice actors do >isn't a gay >makes voice actors seethe by doing their job, being better, and doing it simply as a side thing
This. Chris Pratt brings a real actors touch to the world of voice acting. I'd get doing silly voices for things like My Hero Academia, or One Piece, or something like Dragon Ball Z. But Chris is working on real art projects like The Mario Movie and the Garfield Movie. Silly hamfisted work isnt going to cut it.
It's a matter of quality, I could see a respectable adult taking their children to a movie such as Mario or Garfield. I could even envision that adult enjoying some of the goofs and gaffs, not put of by some extreme, disappointment inducing anime-voice.
I won't let my children watch anime of any kind, people who grow up watching that will emulate those voices and talk like complete cartoon characters, more so than those who grew up on traditional cartoons.
Only a stupid fricking executive would think this guy would be a good voice for Mario. Like the Super Mario Bros franchise needs star power to put asses in seats. Mario's more popular than Jesus.
Illumination, in their infinite wisdom, got a guy who not only doesn't know anything about the franchise they've been hired to portray, but also doesn't sound like the character he's cast for.
Getting Jack Black who actually is enthusiastic about the role and can do a gruff voice was an accident, I'm sure.

I'm not, it was just not good either.
I like how major video game voice actors like Troy Baker all try their damnedest to make it big into Hollywood but then get sidelined by the film A-lister du jour and shimmy back to the booth to voice some forgettable anime RPG.
All actors are prostitutes, trying to get as many gigs as they can without regard to how good they'd actually be. And they shouldn't rely on casting/producers to make that decision, they're idiots too.
it's every day bro
>I hate ni-, oh wait
>I hate Mondays. That's the line.
I watched super Mario bros, other than jack black I'd have to say charlie day was the best part of the show
7/10

The dynamic between Mario and Luigi builds onto their character depth. Luigi is an essential part of the main theme of brotherhood in the film.

Luigi Wins by doing Absolutely Nothing
>I spent hours of my life honking....BOOBAS
>I spent hours of my like sniffing BRAPPAS

Yong won
People getting mad that Pratt got the game you stomp goombas in wrong will always be hilarious to me.
He's Garfield now too?

Was he fricking high or what?

How is he still getting VA work after mario. fricking horrendous.
Voice actors are now cast based on how much people recognize them when we see their face. He's now the voice of Jon in the Garfielf movie.
He's voicing Garfield.
My apologies, neither of them sound right so I got mixed up.

Troy Baker is literally in every game already, he could only get in Hollywood if he cloned himself.
b***h I LOOK LIKE GARFIELD
