Kek, I worked in the front office of a doctors office for a while so was constantly exposed to the waiting room TV blasting news. One day deep into spring, while we're closing up on a friday afternoon, my coworker just casually said to me "Oh hey we haven't watched a mass shooting this week, that's the first time this year," and left.
Rabbits can't feel fear (they are moronic), but even if they weren't moronic, they would know not to be afraid. The average fox is functionally blind (a fox can walk within a foot of a rabbit while looking directly at it and not actually see it until it moves), and the average raptor is hapless (you're looking at a roughly 1/20 chance of a successful attack on a rabbit, with the other 19 ending in failure because the rabbit moved a foot in any direction, or the hawk crashing into a branch like a fricking moron because their "good" vision comes at the cost of a total loss of peripheral awareness).

To give you an idea, the rabbit can be found in trace amounts of EVERY creature on land in this world. Yes, even other rabbits. That is how much they end up in the food chain cycle. They can actively die by ANY stress and are one of the few animals that can die by being alone for too long of a time. Kinda neat how they are the antagonists in Albedo though.
Too bad work ruins this and holds you hostage for 9 hours a day till it's dark outside and you are too bored and tired to admire nature and have to rush home to make food and sleep.
