Calling the jury that found her guilty "morons" shifts the blame on them for the consequences, rather than displaying a sense of accountability for what she did to be in that position in the first place. It's a signal that she doesn't feel genuine remorse. And it wasn't like that was the only thing that was cited. She displayed several behaviors that led the judge to conclude that she wasn't remorseful and hadn't learned her lesson.
