it's pretty far honestly, off the top of my head we still have to cover

and these seasons are only 9 episodes long even if they have an hour each, they could juggle and shuffle some stuff around to make it fit but that's still a LOT to juggle
I figure we're most likely to get Angstrom next season, probably ending with mark bringing Oliver home.
Conquest and the Invincible war are probably the big hook for the season after
I wouldn't be surprised if that's how it'll pan out honestly, especially if the rumors that Season 2 and 3 are greenlit is true, being able to plan out for two seasons straight is plenty of room to map out all those storylines
I'm pretty sure there are many things that will get ignored or changed
They're still going to have Mark get raped because even the show wants to make him as big of a b***h boy like in the comic.

the sequids can be moved back. invincible war is really short and i doubt it will be a major focus. it's mostly a set up for other things and not important in and of itself.
Even in the comics the Invincible war is a joke. It's a parody of big two events spanning the entire line and going on forever.
in the comics it was mostly a joke since it showed a bunch of Image Comics heroes that hadn't even shown in-universe before, I could see them stretching it out by an episode or two tho since that's where Rex dies and given everyone in the Guardians of the Globe is getting more characterization and screen-time they wouldn't want to off-him so quickly like that, and in-universe the whole shebang lasted 4 whole days so I could see them wanting to flesh it out
they can move rexplode's death to the sequids episode. he can die to the lizard league instead of being the sole survivor. speaking of which, with no brit, who is cecil going to send?
actually now that you mention it there was a significantly bigger rooster for the Guardian's in the comics I wouldn't be surprised if they expanded on them in the coming episodes given that even Black Samson got his powers back yet hasn't used them.
the new guardians are being built up to not be as incompetent as they were in the comics as evidenced by the teamwork episode with battle beast. i think cecil isn't going to expand the roster as quickly as he did and make bulletproof's debut like
said. the sequid team will probably just be mark, eve, robot, monster girl and immortal.
And Black Samson
i keep forgetting black samson in the series is different. and yeah, forgot about shapesmith, he's pretty important for that story.
I can see them adding the Martian guy that escaped to earth since that was foreshadowed and even if they're competent Cecil is bound to want more manpower now that he's aware of the Viltrumites as a whole
I imagine it'll be bulletproof or something. There's no way his role isn't getting massivly changed in current year
