The exact same fanbase loved Kim. Jane was written to be an hateable c**t who derailed Jesse. That way, when Walt lets her die you are supposed to think it is a good thing for a few seconds and then be horrified, thus portraying how good people can fall into immorality. Skylar is different and probably the only thing the show didn't get right (other than BONFIRE). It was as though we were meant to hate her but she had an unreal amout of shit to live with so she probably should have been a bit more sympathetic.
To summarise then, we were all meant to hate Jane. Skylar not so much but she wasn't exactly likeable. And most people loved Kim. Not exactly the mysogonistic incel fanbase you are trying to imply it is
I 100% sympathized with Skylar. If I was in her shoes and had to live with Walt I would've left him immediately, he is such a fricking awful person right from the start and was having mental breaks and engaging in constant emotional abuse towards his family.

If they wanted to make Skylar likeable, they should make her a more reliable partner in crime or someone that actually looks out for the children's safety instead of making her a cheating, lying hypocrite who endangers the life of her baby child.
