Miles is best read chronologically. Brian Bendis wrote him almost exclusively for the first 6 years, so he's got consistent characterization and a pretty straightforward story arc.

The current Miles Spider-Man run has been pretty fun so far. Way better the the ASM title.

Just the first volume. It's really all down hill from there, but it really depends on how much you can stomach of wishy-washy stories. His characterization isn't what it should be imo. He's not like he is in the movie which is what dissappointed me.

They don't really exist. Spider-Verse has a stronger, more focused characterization than anything he was in before Spider-Verse. PS4 game Miles is pretty bland but he's given a little flavor because of his actor's performance so it's probably his second best incarnation.
The bendis stuff is exceedingly bland, not awful, but I wouldn't call it good, and every other writer writes him worse so he's been in a lot of outright bad stuff.
